New Srixon Zx5 irons

Yeah, still not a fan.. Srixon take a step backwards here...

How so, what are you seeing in the "step backwards"?

I think they look great!

I can't comment on the way these new ones feel, but I do like the way they look. I think they look better than the 565's for sure that I played previously. Never played the 45 series, but I like the look of these. The feel will be the deciding factor for me.

Yes the 745's were and still are a great set of irons. I just think these new irons and in particular the ZX5 look like the best iterations yet. Visually they look stunning, looking forward to the release.

Personally I think these are the best iteration of the Z series so far, I’ve seen the 7 in the flesh and they look absolutely pure! No picture will do these justice, everything from the finish to the profile to the lines and contours of the iron is perfect in the ZX7. They look very similar to the 785’s but there are a few key tweaks that had me drooling. The P7MC’s have to truly impress me on the course to get me to change my mind. Knowing me I’ll probably get both lol

Interesting... from these pictures it looks like there's a little more offset than the previous 5 series and is that a little heel/toe relief? I'm glad they retained the v-sole and I can't wait to see what the tech story is behind the re-design. I've always found Srixon irons look better in hand so hopefully COVID does't keep us waiting too long.

Those are beautiful and cant wait to see them in person and take them to the course. Going to be hard to knock the 765 out of the bag though.

I assume the P770 is more of a player's iron and in line with the X7. However, since the P770 is a Distance Player's Iron, I'm wondering how it stacks up to the X5. The specs show the topline thickness is the same between the X5 and X7, and its the sole, offset, and length that are different. I love me a nice player's topline. ?

Wondering how they compare to the new Mizzys and P770s.

That X7 looks absolute mint

Similar but not the same. The muscle on those 745s stuck out back some and the sole was very unique and pretty awesome. But year, I can see some similarities. 

Both very well done irons. 

I had 785’s and thought they were the nicest iron I’d  hit in awhile, but about 3 months ago got 585’s and wish I’d given these a shot year ago, I love 585’s, but think backup set will be mizuno 921’s, need to use my two mizuno bags anyways?️

thats likely MSRP..

I actually got that from Continental Golf who does most of my fittings what I would expect to pay I’m just going by what I was just told by them

Will be enjoying my JPX921s then I guess.  Disappointing available in Europe much before then.....

Well according to this video 5-pw will be 899/999 pounds for steel/Graphite 

That's 1184 us.. Which will price them out of many golfers here. So not sure if that will be the price here, but hope not

I like and have played both in the past.  I’d really rather the ZX5’s.  I just find it tremendously frustrating that they’ll be available in Europe early September and folks are saying next year for the US....  That and the prices seem a little steep though I haven’t seen US pricing (or anything else US for that matter)....

So more money then Hmb,921 Forged or P770 Yikes!
