I've heard a hot girlfriend can reduce your net worth by 50%. YMMV

I would be of the mind to say that a poorly fitting, uncomfortable pair of shoes might cost strokes but there is no way that a pair of shoes are taking 4-5 shots off your score and anyone who thinks that they will needs to stop smoking whatever it is they are smoking.

Kind of hard to dispute the results of an independent lab test, but that's just me. The additional stability and traction from spiked to spikeless isn't really debatable.

I don't know if their sample size is big enough and although I prefer a hard sole golf shoe, I don't see that claim standing up. Sort of like 17 yards.

Good shoes definitely helps but not that much! It probably can add distance but not shave off strokes! Putting better shaves off strokes and shoes dont help in that.

Compared to other golf shoes? Maybe they were comparing their shoes with going barefoot early in the morning. 🤩

Absolutely shoes can add distance. And accuracy. Otherwise we’d all be golfing in slippers.

I don't recall seeing any claims about these shoes helping to shave strokes off one's game. I firmly believe that better balance and stability can help one increase their swing speed and add distance. I checked and I see no claims on their website about strokes, only distance gains. I can't quantify if I've gained distance but the balance and stability compared to other golf shoes is noticeable to me.
