Anybody LOVE Their DG105 Shafts?

I never hear anything truly positive about these. Mostly, that they’re harsh feeling. Anybody feel differently? Tell me your positive experiences. Thanks!

I have them in my MP 18 MMC’s and I really like them. Have dabbled with $ taper lites but just feel the 105’s are so consistent. It’s probably familiarity but I like the way they feel. They don’t feel like a nippon obviously but they have always felt solid for me.

A little tip-stiffer?

Prefer the Modus 105s due to the higher flight and spin that I need/want. Also, since I draw the ball, the Nippon has a more stable tip to help with my left shot.

So you’ve found the Nippon to spin more? That’s interesting! I thought the DG had a touch more spin at a slightly lower flight.

I tried both Modus 105 and DG 105, and preferred the overall performance of the DG105 - had them in a set of PING i500's - didn't care for the heads, but loved the feel, trajectory and consistency of the shafts.

Currently having a set of PING S55's re-shafted with the DG 105's.

I just recently received my new G410 irons with the DG105. Haven't had enough time with them to say how much I like them, but they felt best during the fitting and gave me the best numbers. I did try the Modus 105 in them and for my swing, they just didn't feel right. Playing tomorrow so I can give a better review of them afterwards.

Went for an iron shaft fitting at Hot Stix and the first one to get tossed out of the mix was the DG105. Had hit a few other shafts which were OK and was warmed up.

I couldn't find the middle of the club face with the DG105 and it felt terrible.

I was coming from Nippon 105, both stiff and regular. Those both felt better to me and worked better for my swing.

Ended up with SteelFiber i95 ®

You just described my experience with PX LZ. Hate the weight, hate the feel, can’t find the middle, etc. Need to go back down to a lighter shaft.

Yeah, I didn't care for the LZ either. Inconsistent distances and sometimes didn't feel the loading effect. Smoother than regular PX, but not the shaft for me.
