Indoor putting aide and mat suggestions

Finishing off a section of my basement as a workout area. Thinking of doing some basic putting area. I don;t want/intend to go deep on this as I enjoy putting on my local course practice area. This would be for some downtime fun / practice inside 10-20 minutes a few times per week. Will have a relatively hard floor surface (cork backed vinyl).

I can safely say that I can do a @3'x12' area...anything bigger, not sure that I would want it that big.

Any consensus on mats/aides?

Was eyeing the Puttout system. Seems to be hot now - but isn't that always the case...people love it when they buy it - then toss it after a year or so.

Was thinking of a BigMoss green or the one that comes with the Puttout trainer. I think I'd like a real hole to putt at. No need for adding breaks, etc...just straight putts to groove my putting stroke. Will save the benders for the real practice areas.

Suggestions / thoughts?
