What more can I say? I feel like an outcast and the only thing I can think of to explain that is perhaps I offended others here without trying to. Maybe I'm way off base and its just my lack of online persona, hell I don't know.

Anyways I think this is a great site and I'm sorry I don't fit in. So for now I'll sign off and officially become a lurker. That way I can't and won't offend anyone else.

I have to say that I am unaware of anyone not fitting in, we are all individuals and we may not always agree but that should not keep you from posting. Unless I missed some gross behavior.... Every one that I have came in contact with has been wonderful!!!! I have not aggred with some posts but I still respect everyone here for their views and opinions...

Jeff, I think you have the wrong impression of this site. Im not sure what experience you recently had to make you feel this way. There is no perfect site and we all make mistakes. I dont know what else to say because I am not aware of the situation. I hope you can look beyond whatever bad experience you had and realize that this community as a whole is great. Feel free to drop a line anytime if you want to discuss your issue.

First of all let me apologize. Its nothing really specific that happened just me flying off the handle with a knee-jerk reaction to some personal issues in my life and it wasn't fair for me to take it out on the boards. Please accept my apologies for this irrational behavior. I don't normally like to do this but since all of you surprised me by responding, at the least I owe you an explanation. My girlfriend was recently diagnosed with a 70% chance of having lung cancer and will be going in for surgery on the 21st. I would go into more detail but I'm afraid at this point it would turn into babble because I'm still coming to grips with it. I guess it just hits a little too close to home as I lost my mother to lung cancer not even 8 years ago and it still feels like yesterday. Anyways thanks for listening and again please accept my apologies, this is really out of character for me and I'm admittedly embarrassed.

I'm sorry to hear about your girlfriends illness, my thoughts are with you and her, at what must be an emotioinal time. With love, care and some prayers who knows what might be. Never give up hope and always be positive, especially when you are in her company. I'm not very good at talking about these thing so i'll leave it at that. I hope from the bottom of my heart she makes a full recovery.

I am sorry to hear the news... let us know if there is anything we can help you with...I have a dear family friend that has surrvived her bout with lung cancer and a sister that has cervical cancer that is in remission so I know how tough it can be.

No need for apologies or to feel embarrassed in any way, this site is all about different people with a passion for golf as a common bond, we all have our ups and downs. My prayers go out to you, your girlfriend and your families.
