Putter racks

I would sneak over to the Putter forum. There's a couple pictures of some putter racks over there for sure.

Moved. Nicest one I've seen is posted HERE. Definitely want one of these for some of my nicer putters. I'm still rolling with the Ping den caddy. It's hugely versatile, has plenty of room for expansion, and doesn't take that much space.

Any other ideas?

Here is my setup in my office a home. I have these 2 racks on the wall that both hold 6 putters each and a 30 putter rack in the closet for miscelenous items.

Here is what I decided to use. I'm sure that this wasn't some sort of genius idea but I put tees (had to wrap a little tape around them to make them tight - used thin stips of masking tape) in the pre-drilled holes for shelves to hang the covers on. Plus, this bookcase (IKEA) has glass doors to help keep most of the dust out of it. The good news is that this only took the top half so I still have the bottom of this one to fill and another one on the other side of the room..... :black eye: .

This picture is still in the planning stage....I'm trying to 'finish' it up a little by taping down the cloth cover on the shelf and maybe fancy it up a bit.

I like that alot. I might have to steal your idea. LOL

I believe it is part of their 'Billy' line. It is a rather shallow bookcase and that is what I really needed for this space. They also have other designs...some deeper, wider, shorter, etc. That particular one that I got is only about $150 (just over 30" wide, about 11" deep, and almost 80" tall.....including the doors)...white ones are the least expensive. Also, they have a lot of nice (cool / modern) lights that you can mount on/in these....I have one on top but didn't put any inside (it would probably look a little nicer with an inside light).

Now, I just need them to build a store closer to me so that I don't have to make an annual day trip 2 1/2 hours away.

I've seen people use racks like Chris' and others that have used floor-standing pool cue racks.

Another option is to get a nice staff bag to put your putters in.

I bought a sword rack for less than $50.00 shipped. It will hold 8 putters. Works great.
