Agree. Can't beat the C&L putters. I need to order a flowneck soon.

Thanks for the suggestion on C&L checked out their website and they have some good looking stuff and I like the customization, Is there any brick and mortar stores that stock these, I would love to be able to roll a few putts with one before I spend $280 on a putter.

Thanks for the input guys it gave me some new ideas, after rolling some putts with the rife and ping anser 4, Its too bad I could not find one in the redwood series. It really looks like its coming down to the C&L or the Newport 1.5. I Did a lot of reading on here today and have not seen anything bad on the 350 milled stuff.

Since It does not look like I would have a chance to demo a 350 milled before I order it. any feedback you C&L guys have would be great, I am mostly concerened with the feel of the carbon putter, I am looking for something that will not be too soft. A tad firmer than the cameron studio select would be ideal for me.

There is only one anwser and thats Cameron... I have a few and love them. I currently play the Studio Select 1.5 with a little heavier weights at 34" and its one of the best putters I have ever had.

Thanks! The feel of this putter is superior to any Cameron I've tried. Its got a nice sound at impact and the weight and balance of the putter is excellent. I gamed my Cameron IBDD for 8 years and this is the only putter that has kicked it out of the bag permanantly. I really can not say enough good things about C&L. Great products, and the best customer service around.

i think the studio select feels a bit more clicky than the C&L stainless, which i'm partial to

I also highly recommend the C&L. I am putting the best I ever have with the new C&L. I think they are pretty firm actually compared to the Cameron's, it's mostly a personal thing though. It definetly doesn't feel soft to me.

I have a C&L and I too would recommend it over the off-the-rack Cameron offerings. I personally think their carbon steel offerings are what really set C&L apart from the competition (there aren't many companies that make heavier carbon heads right now), but I've heard great things about their stainless heads as well.

If you're looking for a firmer feel, I think most people would agree that C&L's stainless offering is firmer (be aware, though, that there is a slight upcharge for stainless). Also, although I've heard differing opinions on this subject, a sound slot should also firm up the feel a bit. Check with them via email to see how many flownecks they have in stainless, or there might be a wait while they get those milled (I'm sure it'd be worth the wait, though).

I understand your apprehension about not wanting to buy a putter without trying it first, but the C&Ls are really special. Plus, if you don't like it, I'm sure someone on this forum will be ready to snatch it up on the buy-sell page.

The dangerous thing about buying a C&L, though, is that you might have trouble stopping at just one! Good luck!

Thank you all for the help, I have always gone against the grain, plus reading the post on the off center sweet spots on the cameron as well as the thought of spending an extra 200$ in the custom shop, and the glare of the putter head out here in the bright Word not allowed sun. I will take the plunge and get the C&L flowneck in the floating face with black ox finish. I am still trying to come up with some cool ideas for the stamping and what colors I want to use. It will be a month or so before I order it but you can expect plenty of pics when I get it

You definitely made a wise choice I too have rolled nearly all of the Cameron offerings and while they are very nice putters I prefer my carbon C&L over them and I currently own a NP2 GSS Old School Tour Circle T.
