Illegal balls at Walamrt a few years ago...

Anyone play the Intech HOT? I just found a unopened box of 18 in my basement and got excited! They used to sell these things at Wlamart like 2 years ago. I bought them cus I read on the box they were illegal distance nonconforming balls (smaller and harder that USGA standards) and wanted to see if I noticed any distance.

I took them on the course for a scramble that day and was hooked these things were missles! 15-20 yards farther than my gamers remembering back. So I went back to walmart and bought 2 more boxes... 1 box, I used that summer and it looks like I stored the other one and just found it. I can't wait to bring them back out.

Anyone else ever hit these BB's? People must like them cus when a box goes up on ebay there is always multiple bids.

Also... anyone know of any retail stores that still carry them?

I regularly play the Intech Limbo, they are soft and perform extremelly well. eventhough they have not been tested by the USGA, therefore, non-conforming but for 9$/box of 15 ...
