Upclose & personal pictures.
Have them all in store....

The button back is retailing for about $999 because of the cost being one of the highest Scotty has ever made. The face is nice, not as good as the T10 in my opinion. Also pics of the head cover which is REALLY HOT.

Squareback is really sweet rolling a few.

Fastback is a nice little mallet head.

Enjoy the pictures!

ps these are floating around in a NYC golf shop...can you come find them??

Cool pictures! I like the new headcover--almost looks like the Gripmaster logo.

I wonder why the button back costs that much more to make.

it doesn't, thats just how much its priced at, not correlation to the price charged. It could take one more man hr to make but it would still be priced only a hundred above everything else. Any smart seller prices at the max they feel the market will pay.

If everybody tomorrow banded together and said they would not buy scotty cameron he would be out of business in a week. Same as a house. People get emotional in feeling what they want for their house. Sorry....a house is worth what the market is willing to pay. Scotty cameron is a pricing/marketing genius who has cultivated a money making image. Good stuff at premium prices. $999 for a putter is obscene, but that to me, to the guy with cash falling out of his pockets its acceptable.

I would say that the ranges would be between $599 to $999 depending on the store.

That's a pretty wide margin for pricing if it can vary $400.00 in between stores. Seems a little weird. Wouldn't there be a set MAP price?

i hear ya but when the special vokeys came out they were sold for $270, then certain golf stores sold them between $280-$1299. So its the same thing here. Every big box store will be different. Not sure of there being a MAP price, dont remember seeing one on the T10's.

When I look at any new Cameron offerings, IMMEDIATELY three things come to mind:

1. Byron Putters

2. C&L putters

3. Bettinardi Putters

Only the late 1990's Cameron offerings are worth spending money for.

Titleist TSi2 10* Driver Tensei Blue 55S
TM Sim2 Max 16.5* 3 wood Tensei Blue 60S

TM SIM2 Titanium 5 Wood Tensei Blue 65S

TM SIM2 MAx 4 Hybrid Ventus Stiff shaft
Ping G410 5-UW Alta Graphite Shafts
Vokey SM8 56* sand wedge, Vokey SM9 60* lob wedge
Black Lab Oil Can 350g custom grind by "Geo" putter

C&L 350 Milled Oil Can Putter (3 of them!)

Thats not a bad list, but heres the thing, the general consumer doesnt know the top two names.

Then the "general consumer" remains uninformed, and that's too bad.

I understand and you have a valid point. The thing is, even if C&L or Byron tries putting their putters in retail shops, is that retail store going to stock those or the names people know?

You have got to love the Cameron haters, if you don't like his putters don't buy them. Don't act like a 6 year old and say mine is better than yours.

Not a hater, I have a David Duval that I love. However, for that price, I would rather have 1 of each of the afore mentioned putters.

Never said better, but I'll say it now.

IMO, Byron's are.

Thanks for sharing the cost. I think I figured it out.

The unit cost is naturally higher because of this thing called "economies of scale." Since only 2008 button backs will be produced, then the fixed costs associated with making the putter will give a higher cost per putter. Also since it is a specialty market, Cameron should look for higher margins because he is selling at a much lower volume. This all translates to a higher cost.

As to the poster requesting the esteemed nickpoz to post pictures, there really would be no need. By the time he would have pictures to share, the pics would already be out in the Cameron and Titleist sites or through some promotional materials which will be shared here such as catalog scans or media files.
