I like what you did with the Wilson TPA XVIII. How did you flame that with the rough black finish still on it? Is there any additional process?

I had to remove the black finish as it was a bit messy when I got it.

Put on a few coats of a paint remover and just scraped off the finish. Then cleaned it up with wire wool, sand paper. Once it was clean I torched it with the butane. Its probably my favotite of the three.

Let's see some bigger pics of the flamed Studio Select you did. They are in the other post, but they are so small, I can barely tell the tone and shades of color. Can you post some large ones in this thread for us to drool over???

Hmmmm wonder what would happen to my Rife if I flamed it, being that its an anodized finish...

Never seen that Odyssey Proto #3 before now, looks pretty cool. Love that finish too, nice work.

Here are some more pics of the Scotty I did the same way. It is so easy to do all you need is a butane tourch. Just strip the head of its paint fill then pull the shaft. After that simply go over the head with the blue flame of the tourch. If you go longer you will start to get the blues and purples like this Scotty. If you really go a long time it will start to go all black. If I can do it anyone can but I love the way it makes them look.

You're killing me. I want to see some large pics of the SS flamed. That thing is sweet, but the pics are so small it looks brown instead of any golds and blues.
