Looking to buy a Scotty Cameron for my birthday which one should I buy?

Looking to buy a Scotty Cameron or a nice Bettinardi for my birthday which one should I buy? I am using the money I am getting for my birthday to buy a new scotty I just need some help in getting a good one. not super expensive but a nice one. Which one should I get. Oh and my birthday is tomorrow and I am turning 22 can't wait.

I suggest picking up a nice Circa 62 #2 or #3 or a Studio Select Newport 2... those are my favs and are similar to the Anser you have been using.

Well, to match your Odyssey 9, maybe a Bettinardi BB16. To match the Anser 2, how about an older Studio Stainless Newport 2.

I've got a pretty sweet raw carbon Tour Bettinardi BB16, blank sole, BeCu insert on it's way this week...I can let you know if I don't want to keep it around, LOL.

do the inserts feel like the odyssey inserts or how does it feel. I kinda want one with our an insert but I will take a look at it when you get it.

If you want a tour BB, watch ebay. They usually sell pretty cheap there.

Here's a vote fore the Cameron Studio Select. It has a great feel and has a durable finish. It can also be tailored to you with the availability of different lengths (33-35") and putter head weights (340-360grams).

I've always been a fan of any Scotty Newport 2, especially the older carbon steel ones. Clean look with a great feel, Can't beat it

I would suggest a Cameron Button Back as well. There is no difference between these or the Tours. Same buttery soft insert!

i would look for a JAT proto, or a xperimental #6. both are pretty cool IMO. i think there is a JAT Proto is the BST as well

If this is too expensive, then go for a retail Scotty Studio Select Heavy version - Newport 1.5, Newport 2, Fastback and Squareback are all great choices :ok:

They are made at the Bettinardi factory and they are the same high quality like the other Bettinardi putters :betty:

The other day I was on ebay and saw a tour scotty for sale, and it was absolutely awesome. It was not a button back, but looked identical to the flatstick Anthony Kim is gaming. It was the new Neport 2 Mid Slant with a Terrylium Copper insert. Gorgeous, and it also had tungsten weights made by scotty, it was around 1350 and I believe a new arm would run you around 50K or more. Anthony Kim's putter wouldn't be for you though, its for winners only, it says BOOMER SOONER! this one didnt though and I'm sure would fit anybody supporting a team going to the Holiday or Alamo Bowl. Better a bowl game than being at home watching one, or playing at the toilet bowl. 61-41, all in good fun mate! :D :
