For some reason the sight line on the top edge and clean back flange is key for my putting. All for about the same price as an OTR Scotty!!! I should also say that Byron was an absolute class act to work with.

Those are beautiful. I had no idea there was a whole sub-forum for Byron's. I spent like 2 hours looking at threads and pics. :russian_roulette:

Fantastic looking putter do you use it?

I had Byron make this one for me last year.

It's an 006 in stainless steel that's been bead blasted, and then plated with Black Star (copper and nickel plating). It started out with a plumbers neck, but Byron cut that off, and welded on the new centershafted neck.

The specs are 355g, 33.5", 71* lie and 4* loft. The grip is a black Gripmaster stitchback.

it's been on the practice green a couple of times, i don't really want to use it...

Wow, those are all truly pieces of art. I can't wait to save up a few dollars and get myself one.

One question....

How come some are labeled Byron Morgan, and some John Byron? What's the difference? I know that only older ones say John Byron, but it always confused me.

At one time the company was owned by John Ortega and Byron Morgan. Now Byron is a solo act and making putters better than ever.
