Hey all:

Just took the plaunge and ordered my first C&L this morning. Little xmas present to myself.

My Ordered options:

CL-1 Floating Face

Standard loft and lie

34"

Orange Iomic grip and orange leather headcover

Stampings:

Weight stamped on toe of sole

C&L Logo stamped on heel of face

My initials stamped on toe of face

350 Milled in cavity,

Excited about this, can't wait, luckily there is snow on the ground here, so that should help me not get to stir crazy waiting of it.

    Congrats!

My favorite part of the C&L experience was the next day after I ordered and Chip sent me pictures of the raw carbon steel head already stamped to my specifications. I don't know if anyone does that for customers, but I really appreciated the extra step.

Can't wait to see pictures of your putter.

If you don't mind me asking, approximately how much did it cost?

I believe prices are listed on their website under $300.

If you want more specific questions answered in addition to price...send a PM to hoganapex or chipaputt. They'll get right back to you.

Sorry all, forgot to add finish, Cabon Black Ox finish.

I think the price will be around 300, but haven't gotten the response form Chip or Lee.

At this point, from what I have heard, they are more than worth it.

I'd bet you'll see it within a month. I'm sure Chip or Lee would give you an idea if you PM them though.

I'm waiting on my first right now...Lee told me 4 weeks. I had an email from him a week ago today that stamping was done and were doing handfinishing before real finish starts. I can't wait!

    Hi,

Just wanted to add my personal experience with C&L and include the pictures I have drawn up as well as the actual pictures of the raw putter that is currently being made for me.

All through the design process and in general I have had an excellent time corresponding with Lee Harville (Hoganapex) about the specs. for the putter. He has been a great help and I have never experienced the kind of customer service that Lee provides.

I am of course very exited about the outcome and can't wait until I actually get the putter azn.gif I will be sure to post some pictures of the putter when it is finished.

    Cheers,

    Steffen

    CL-1

    33 inches length

    67 degree lie

    4 degree loft

Carbon with black ox on entire putter except topline which should be 3xblack (non-glare)

    Floating Face (Sound flange)

    White sight line on flange

    Grip: Iomic orange midsize

Headcover: New style orange HC with white stitching

    Shaft: Upgraded heavy Nippon shaft

    Thanks a lot.

I spend quite a lot of time going through a lot of different designs - but in the end settled on this one.

I think the initial indications are looking very good - and I am very exited as you can imagine.

I have made some input on the sole as well but when I get the putter I will be sure to do a "pictorial" of the whole of the putter image/man_in_love.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':man_in_love:' />

Just one more shot (actual head weight)

Thanks - I was looking at a design with three milled circles on the cavity but decided to go with four since I was not looking to do a copy of Scotty Camerons design.

Anyway C&L really gives you creative freedom so everything is possible image/clapping.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':clapping:' />

On the sole I have asked for a Shark with the production date - believe that Chip originally made the Shark after you gave an input.... excellent!

You know you have violated several rules by doing this. You must share pictures prior to taking any putts. It is the GolfWRX way. image/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Can't wait to see some pictures and perhaps a short review of what you think. I love both of my C&L's, and I am sure you will really enjoy yours.

    Okay all

    Here are the pics.....

Of course there is about 7 inches of snow on the ground...so the new putter is comfortably in my bag getting accquianted with all of the other clubs in my bag.

Can't wait til spring cause if this thing rolls as good on the greens as it does on the carpet, I am gonna love this thing.
