Missing Studio Style paintfill normal??

UPDATE - 12-19-08
My Cameron Studio Style appears to me to be real; no obvious tell-tell signs of being a fake. However, it is missing some paintfills in all the dots. I bought it that way, but with the knowledge that there were no obvious fake signs; headcover has the proper label, the shaft label is on the underside, no white painted dots on the grip, proper sole engravings, insert border is elastomer, not paint, etc. Do any of you have Studio Styles w/o paintfill in all dots? Pics are attached; opinions please, real Scotty or fake??

I have had my studio style for over 2 years now and some of the paint is starting to fall out of it alreadey (I keep it well kept). Prob similar issue with this one and the previous owner just took the fill out to clean it up before sale. Look real nice though, may have to take the rest of the paint out of mine now.

something about this putter struck me as being a fake... look at how close the cameron name in the cavity is to the insert screws... this pic is stright from scottycameron.com and the name is farther away from the screws on either side

I see your point, but I think the OP pic looks like it does because of the blurriness caused from the camera. It almost highlighted the words making them seem bigger than they are. That's just how I observe it.

A part time golfing buddy who played it around a year owned it. I will see where he got it before. However, I am now officially sick and tired of looking at Studio Style putters. I took everyone's feedback and reviewed all current Ebay postings and Golfwrx postings back to March. Some sold by some posters here with very high feedback numbers. I see the same issues on nearly every single SS putter that some have pointed out, particularly the C and M too close to the screws and the appearance that the TTY is smaller. In person you can see the different finishes on the face from the insert to the rest. The flash washes out that difference. I am attaching a couple of pics taken with my better camera w/o a flash. Hopefully that will help some to decide. All I can say is if I have a fake, it is a very good one. I do appreciate the feedback as I don't want to have, or sell a fake. But I also don't want ebay to think I am selling a fake if I am not.

I think that after looking at some of the statements other members have picked upon, the difference in font size between the SCO and TTY seems to be the most significant. Posts like these really is depressing, because it's unreal to what extent some con-men will go to get you'r money. How does it feel to putt with?

I think that the putter is fine and it NOT a fake. Below are 3 more listings on ebay that look identical to the OP's.....and there were many more that looked identical I just did not take the time to copy the item number. I think that the stock picture on scotty website is not a good representation to look at.....The C and N DO come right up next to the screws on the Newports and the text on the neck looks good on the OP's compared to these ebay listings below.....check them out and see what you think. Again, I think your putter is fine.

UPDATE: It took a full week and 3 tries, but Titleist finally replied to my request for an answer on why they asked Ebay to pull my posting. Their answer was a simple, "we made a mistake". They have sent an email to Ebay asking to reinstate the ad etc., but the hassle and waste of time needed to not sell the putter last week was very frustrating. I know mistakes happen and I'll get over it, but c'mon, the power to just click and pull is tough to accept. Thanks to all who weighed in to my fake or not question, but Titleist says its OK, I'll go with them.
