My putter is back from AZ!

I bought this putter for my birthday and sent it off to LaMont to work his magic. This thing is awesome! Thanks to deerslayer for posting his techniques on changing up the headcovers and grips (although my grip is a bit sucky compared to his work). Enjoy and I can't wait to take her out--the weather will be nice down in Alabama when we visit family for Christmas!

It's even better looking up close. It's a great, durable finish and the color scheme turned out even better than I expected!

Thanks, everybody! The grip paintfill was done by me thanks to help from deerslayer. I had that Cameron grip laying around forever and was going to use it on my Circa '62 #2. Thanks to my laziness I never got around to replacing it. After looking at one of deerslayer's posts I picked up some Tamiya paints that matched up perfectly with my paintfill.

rockmastermike, I'm a '97 grad. More thanks to deerslayer and one of this threads on that too--unbelievably easy! I wanted to pick up one of the custom shop sublime lime covers and put blue on it, but why pay money for another cover when this one would do just fine. One thing I did notice is that stitching on the sides of the headcover came out much better after they were bleached. The first time I did it the colors didn't pop so much and it's because of the silver. So I bleached over it and it matches up perfectly with the dots!

No offense guys, but I never understood where Auburn fans get "War Eagle" from Tigers. Where does that come from?

As far as I know. This is what I wanted to go with and I managed to find a picture of the combo. LaMont matched it up pretty well and it goes great with the finish.

What finish is that?

It's a permanent gloss black finish. I was looking for something black but with no maintenance. This was exactly it. He can probably do other colors--he showed me a yellow TM putter, which was insane.

Yep. For the dots I literally put each dot right over the mouth of the bleach bottle and it work right away. For the lettering on the sides I used a hand towel with bleach and just pressed down on it. I left it overnight and then went to work with the Sharpie!
