Switchblade Divot tools

I was looking into getting a new divot tool. I have seen the ones that have the actual tool inside the casing then you press a button and the divot tool part comes out. Was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with these or if someone has any other ideas for an inexpensive tool.

I found one... works alright, but tends to release on it's own in my pocket from time to time.

Do you happen to know what brand or where you got it? I've seen some on ebay but didnt know if there were better ones out there

I have one that was sold under the brand name Divix.

I have 2 of them. They work okay, more of a novelty but easier to use than a tee. As stated above it has a tendency to open in your pocket. When they get a little sand on them they loose their switchblade effect but cleaning it returns it to life.

I like the the GreenFix a LOT better. They are VERY easy to use and make the green repair look a lot more natural. According to their website it's a lot better for the green too. After using them, I believe it too.

Had one broke 3 days later, so i went back to the traditional one.

I switchblad action adds that special element of GANGSTA to it, but it is too large in the pocket. Too much crap to hold in your pocket while playing anyway

I use one , it's called Zivot I think.

Works fine , never pops open. Has a little magnetic ball marker on it that I have lost a dozen times and now just stick a shiny silver washer in it instead. :)

I have it on a tiny carabiner and just hook it on a belt loop.

I've tried a few of the switchblade type and none seem to work great....Here is one that I found to work the best.. I picked it up on the bay last year, it's not a switchblade type but it does open up like a knife....It came from japan and my winning bid was about $25.00...It's a Mizuno divot tool and it's made of stainless steel and has good weight to it and it was well made....Sorry for the bad picks

I use a zivot all the time, works great. It rarely opens in my pocket, but the ball marker is easy to lose. Have to go check out my washer collection! good tip.

At one point Choepner said that there was going to be a Machine brand divot tool made. Does anyone know if they atually made them?

extremely well built....Check out Japan golf on the bay, they are there from time to time....
