Just purchased this putter and had it custom!

I have a Gauge GAA3. Very good looking and feeling stick. Personally I don't think the Whitlams and Gauges get enough love.

Only ever heard good things about them and seen a few.

I have played this one off and on for about a year. When I get the jitters, out it comes and it does the job well. I like the heft and the balance is spot on for my swing. You spent a great deal of money, but you spent it well!!!

I actually got a pretty decent deal, but I think it's money well spent.

Yep...as you're hearing from the rest, Whitlam's (especially the Devon ETBW) are phenomenal putters. It isn't the most expensive putter in my collection, but it's one of best...

I have used mine for about a year now. Just send it on. I will put it through its paces and give you a full report.

I have been a pretty staunch SC fan however had a putter fitting at Gilroys Golf ended up buying a Whiltam Devon SPI 3 its the best putter i have ever used feels even better than any of my previous Scotties. Big fan of Whitlam putters cant see me changing for a long time.

I thought about the SPI, but decided to go with the regular Devon. I was a big SC collector but I haven't played a SC or even a plumber's neck putter in a few months.

With a "DASS" like that, how can you hide it?

The Bettinardi 3-Slot Tour DASS BB8/BB41 is the "crown jewel" of my collection and I love that putter...the balance, feel, roll...everything is perfect. The Whitlam Devon ETBW gives it a run for the money and gets more bag time than the Bettinardi. I also get more comments and requests to try the Whitlam than any other putter I own. Quite honestly, based on value (cost-to-performance), the Whitlam is a winner...

It is sad that you can't try them out at more local places...I honestly believe they are some of the best looking and performing putters out there.

That is a sweet looking putter, my friend. That will likely get you down to 28/putts per round!

Any pics of the 2007 prototype in your signature?

I'll see if I can take some pictures tonight. As odd as it may seem, I've never actually posted pics of any of my clubs (4 sets) or putters online.

It's a standard anser style putter with some softer lines/edges than the Devon model. I actually prefer the Devon's hard edges, but the Proto still looks great.
