Why does Mizuno seem to have such a great history with putter designers?? Was TP Mills first then Bettinardi?

Don't forget Scotty Cameron came before either of them.

Mizuno gets great putter designers but can never seem to get much traction in the market. I think it has a lot to do with its reluctance to give big-money contracts for tour players. The Bettinardi models are doing alright I think on their own merits, but you can get the Mills Mizunos used for a song.

The Mills Co. had a great experience with Mizuno. The putters were of great quality and the sales were good.

Who made older Mizuno putters like this one? Note the graphite shaft!
