If it's the Pro Platinum Bullseye flange, I used to play that putter and I'm sorry I got rid of it. It's a sweet stick, provided you have the right stroke for a Bullseye type putter. If it has the cover with it that's a great price, you should grab it. If you don't like it you can sell it on the bay and get your money back.

Thanks for the reply, what would you say is the right stroke for the bullsye, I am getting a cover, divot tool and the grip is in plastic.http://www.scottycameron.com/putters/archivedetail.aspx?id=123&modelID=303&seasonID=2

I currently have the American Classic III Heavy Flange (33"/350g) and it's a great putter. Not as forgiving as others, but feel and balance is superb! I've had 4 rounds with mine and have had no issues. Distance control has been excellent and the few mishits although felt harsh, distance wasn't punished much at all. The other big plus for me is it's very easy to align.

That's a great price for a new one with original headcover and divot tool.

Been gaming one for several years, and I loooove it. So much so that I bought a back up, see avatar. I love the straight sight lines with no offset, no wierd graphic and aligment aids, which I find more distracting than helpful. It is a heavier feeling putter and to me the best I have ever used on short range putts. the one area I struggle some with is is longer lag putts. I used a Anser 3 for many years prior and found just the opposite to be true, I was a great lag putter with it but almost went insane missing the shorter ones. To me if you can make the short ones, then lagging is not an issue because even if you dont get it close at least you know you can make the next one. YMMV.

By the right stroke, he means a GOOD stroke. That putter looks nice but it very unforgiving by today's standards.

If you cant hit a putter in the sweet spot you dont need a new putter, you need practice..

My comment on the stroke was meant that to me a Bullseye works best with an almost straight back and straight through type of stroke. Personally I never worry so much about forgiveness in a putter, I pick what suits my eye and feels best to me first. That Bullseye I had was the deadliest putter I've ever owned with lag putts.

Thats perfect, that is the stroke that I have, do you guys have any experiences with the "Hand Rubbed leather grip" that comes stock on the club.

the grip looks pretty cool -- wasnt for me because of the wraps -- kind of a cool feel to it though, nothing like any modern rubber grip.

as far as the putter i think they are great for short putts -- my stroke fits more of the napa profile but i think any true blade putter can be the best pickup. i just dont trust myself to be conistant on those 30 footers with it. great deal though!!!!!!

almost my experience exactly. i have an older bulls eye and an anser 2. the bulls eye is great for 'makeable' putts, but tricky for lagging. the opposite is true for me with the anser.

I think the leather grip Scotty used was a Gripmaster wrap. Not sure which one. Mine was an earlier edition which came with a Baby T, which was an awesome grip with that putter.

if it is a gripmaster wrap, it's nice. that's what i've got on my bulls eye. it feels great and looks great with the putter.
