today i recieved my scotty cameron red x2 std test sample protoype :) !!!

this is a proto of the mid red x but in a 35" form with the larger head!!!

i will be testing this soon as i can!!!!

Was wondering if you know the head weight?

Nice pics - thanks for sharing. I take it that this model will not have a the GSS insert - so is the whole putter head made from GSS?

I like the 1 line. I've never been a fan of the 3 lines on the current Red X models.

Very sweet, love the sole design. Wondering if the head was all GSS like some other guys have asked. :)

from doing a bit of reaserch on the cameron website, putter the head is made from alluminium

looks like same head as the redx2 mid version, that weighs in at 370g, the head is alluminium as you say with the soleplate made from stainless steel (whereas the regular redx2 has an alluminium sole plate).

The putter feels sweet!!! i have being playing a corza for a good length of time before; which i liked however i love this putter's apearance with the single line and the size of the head!!!

can you do a comparision picture between the regular X2 and this one

i currently do not have a normal red x to compare to it, however it looks to be about a third of the size bigger than the smaller red x.

Was also wondering if you knew when and if it is coming to retail?I love the midsize mallets and heavier heads.

I've seen that head, but on a Mid/Long putter here in stores. This gives me an idea though...maybe i'll cut one down.
