alright there golfho, just checked this post again, nice to see a reply.

just had knee op 12 days ago, so out of the game for at least a couple more weeks, but would certainly fancy a knock once i'm back out of the treatment room!!!!

where do you play? what do you play off? (just being nosy!!)

Leicestershire - but play all over - Carden Park and Mottram Hall in the northwest are favs at the moment - not that good but can usually turn in an 80-81.

I'm happy to play anywhere - give me a shout if there is a gathering somewhere esp in the Northwest around Cheshire/Manchester/Wirral/Liverpool etc etc

maybe we should organise a 'North-west gathering'. Would anyone be up for that? find a neutral venue and slug it out for the bragging rights!!!!!!

would need to sort my game out first though, playing very erratically since my knee op!!! had a nasty dose of the hooks yesterday. not ideal at my home track, where left is often screwed!!

Sounds like a great idea, i'd be up for a meet up in the north west at some point.

I could fancy a game. I'm from the Leeds area but work in Oldham, hence close enough to the Manchester area to make one in, if there is a game arranged. Earlier this year I took part in similar, in aid of Cancer Research, through a golf networking website called Golfshake and had a great day. So yes game on!
