I admit that the sole isn't my favorite view of this driver but I prefer the busy part of the graphics to be on the bottom rather than the crazy graphics and shapes we are seeing from address on the drivers we are seeing here in the states. I swear that if I squint at the graphics of my burner I can see a 3D spaceship in there. Not there is anything wrong with that......... :blink:

actually, this driver and others from tourstage may be coming to the states in the near future form bridgestone. The may have same looks and shapes but for a cheaper price. I heard this form a little birdie thats pretty high up in bridgestone =]

Like I have always said in most JDM forums. The TS X drives are still the best overall (looks + performance).

Just make sure you choose the correct stock shaft (even those are great).

I just wish Bridgestone would release some of these clubs in the states...and in left handed.

edit: i didn't realize how special these are and probably out of the ball park expensive, i guess i don't understand tourstage's relationship with bridgestone as well. I guess tourstage is worldwide, and bridgestone is the usa brand, i don't get it...

It is smaller by today's standards at 445 cc's mainly due to not having quite as deep of a face compared to my J33R 460.

This is the Driver I'm currently gaming. I'll just say it is amazing. And you're right, the look at address is Perfect!!!

I was told that since technology is so big in Japan, consumers like to have that expressed in the stuff they buy. So its designed for the local market.

Just to add.....this one doesn't have the full face scoring lines of some older X Drives. Those made them look better.

What's not to like?......I know I know, the price.

 

Bridgestone just has a great eye when it comes to styling drivers. I just wish they were more readily available here in the states.

Anymore it seems that most Drivers are quite busy. I could name off most all the new Drivers out, they all have a lot going on for graphics, and not just on the sole. My son just picked up a 909D and the first thing I thought was that it had some similarities to the Tourstage Driver

From a guy that has seen it all and knows a great looking (and performing) club when he sees one.

Looks quite similar to the R7 425 TP at adress, no-nonsense, clean looking. Too much going on for my with the criss-cross theme on the sole.

Now that......is a beaaauuuuute!

The Maruman Majesty Prestigio is a very pretty golf club, although I don't care for how it sets up.

Stunning. No fancy graphics and a natural looking shape. Chances of seeing on in the UK. Nil. Damn!

Not a detailed review as I have only hit it once. I will doing some launch monitor testing on it soon and will report the numbers then. I was pleasantly surprised at a lower launch angle than I expected and the ball just exploded off the face. I know that all drivers are maxed out COR wise, but this thing feels very hot. Bridgestone fans will love this club and as I have a J33R 460 that this one has similar flight characteristics to but seems a bit hotter, or at least feels that way.

As far as the shaft as concerned, it is equipped with the standard Graphite Design Tour AD B09-01W which puzzles me at the moment but not in a bad way. It seems a bit on the weak side in relationship to flex but it refused to hook unless I horribly flipped it which I am very pleased by as my misses are usually left and I am a swinger not a hitter.

Beautiful driver. Tourstage do make superb drivers.

My old Tourstage X-Drive was a great performer - not really sure why I sold it. Lol.
