What do you think of the Nike Shox golf shoes?

Looks, Performance, etc...

I am a bit new to this website and posted the same question in another fourm so sorry for double posting...
When I first saw the Shox I thought I'd never own a pair of them...I tried a pair of them on twice and found them to be extremely comfortable (I have 2 pair of the running shoes which I love as well). I'm shopping for new shoes and have these high on my list. What's your opinion of these shoes....even if you don't have a pair, do you think the look is not appropriate??

For those of you who own them...How is the performance? And, Does mud get trapped inbetween the shox?

I'm a little more traditional with the shoes. I dig the new inserts you can put in shoes to make them softer, but i lean more towards the "dress shoe" style than a "sporty style" shoe. Sounds stupid, but that's just how i play.

those are for the people who wear t-shirts and jean shorts to a golf course... plain and simple... i hate them, only classics for this guy!

Nike's are kind of tight on the hooves for me. However, they look good, but Adidas makes great sport golf shoes if you are looking for something like that.

i got a pair before heading down to florida for a tournament and i loved them. They look great and feel even better. They are so much more comfortable than my gel fusions. I finally found my shoe for the summer when its so hot and u just want to be comfortable. I have to disagree with them being worn for ppl who wear jeans to the course. Almost everyone who noticed they were actually golf shoes wanted to go buy a pair for themselves. They are definitly worth buying.

We have them in our store, and they could possibly be the ugliest thing that I have ever seen in my entire life!!! The grey and the Blue......TERRIBLE!!

Maybe it is just because I prefer the more classic look, but then again, I can stand any of the athletic shoe models.

I like the shoes preformance but the colors are terrible. They should consider more solid colors. I would buy a few pair if they were available in solid black and solid white.

The athletic style can't be beat if you are a range rat that hits tons of balls and practices alot. They are also good for the walking golfer. I wouldn't wear them with anything but shorts though. They look horrible with khakis.
