TJ, nice bags. Thanks for sharing.

So you seem more like a details guy when it comes to clubs rather then 'let me just put something in the bag that works.' Is that true?

Awesome set/s TJ. You're a lucky guy - great job!

Congratulations on BB. I'd never even heard of it 'til I joined up here (they don't have it in Australia), but sounds like it would have been a gret experience. I'd like to see it some time.

Anyway mate, good luck with everything you're doing now. Kepp us up to date with how you go.

Cheers - Damon :drinks:

Hey guys, thank for all the great comments. I will try to answer all of your questions here. First, right now the big break staff bag is just a great addition to my sports memorabilia room in my house as well as having it for corporate clinics and such. I have to use the Taylor staff or R7 stand bag for play. I am one of those guys that have to always check to make sure my swing weights are correct, loft and lie are checked every few weeks, clubs have to be right for the conditions etc. I have a couple of friends out on various tours and one on the PGA tour that really do not know much about their clubs or care too, they just have to feel right to them. They have to feel right to me but I also need to know the numbers on them as well. I will try anything I can. I love trying new shaft/head combinations.

I have played the 510 TP since it came out. I tried the R7 TP and Tour and never liked anything I could get out of it. When I first hit the 425 a few months ago it had a similiar sound to the first R7 models which was very different when compared to the 510. So for the past month I have been getting used to the new sound/feel but my launch angle and spin rate are so much better with it. The shaft does not feel as "boardy" as the 757 which I like.

The new maxfli ball that I have been trying out is the same models that have been pictured on some threads here. << >> < > models. The last time I spoke with my rep he said that it is going to be produced under the TP Taylor Made label which would be cool but if someone has other info on that I would love to hear it. The two versions play very similiar to the Pro V and X balls which I am very happy with. I will have no problem making the switch.

Please feel free to email or PM as well

Hi Guys, thanks again for the great replies. I am working hard on my game lately getting ready for the season in new england. I have been traveling doing a lot of speaking engagements/clinics/presentations lately. I am also preparing for the spring summer teaching season back at my home club Pinehills Golf Club in Plymouth Mass. I have a lot on my plate this summer which not only includes playing and teaching but some more television work in the golf analyst field plus some other surprises :-) I got a bunch of PMs about putting some more big break memorabilia up here and I will be adding some in the coming days.

Some answers to some great questions.

How did Marty get the job with the girls from bb 5. Well Marty got married and was going to Hawaii with his wife for their honeymoon and just so happened to be around the same time the girls were filmed in October sooo the rest of that you can figure out lol

I absolutely love my tm 300s. They are plain retails. I do have a small custom grind but other than that they are just retails.

As for my putter in the left bag. That is a Mentor Sports Duet. It is a heavy putter with the ability to change weight from 337 grams to 561 grams. I really is a solid putter that I will use on slower greens.

sprtsfrek21 thank you very much for that post! Carnoustie was the most challenging golf course I have ever played. The production crew worked with the grounds staff to recreate as close as they could to the impossible conditions in the 99 Open, that is why you didnt see any of the "props" that you see on BB 5 or any of the others. They wanted the golf courses their to be the challenge not the props. And what can I say about St. Andrews. Being able to play on that golf course a week before the Open was amazing. I cannot wait to go back to Scotland and enjoy everything again without all that pressure :-)

Thanks again guys!
