is the JDM stuff any different with the OEMS

TM, mizuno, srixon..etc

ok, I always see people selling JDM equipment and it usually goes for a premium over the us stuff. so heres my question is it any better?? or it it really just one of those kinda becasue we cant get it things. you know you want it because you cant have it. Im not talking about the companies like Miura, Im talking about the large US oems, TM, mizuno, clevland, srixon and the like that actually make clubs here also. are there japanese clubs any better or is it just about saying I have japanese clubs?

An enormous can of worms you have opened. Particularly when you say that Mizuno and Srixon are US OEM's? Does the US actually produce any forged heads anymore?

yeah Im sure, im not really trying to offend anyone, I really dont know where theyre forged, ive really never played nice clubs, mostly just hand me downs. I really just assumed that the clubs were made here.

This question is like asking if "tour" is better then retail. I have owned practically every brand from JDM to American. If you find a good club..no matter the brand or where it's made...it's still a good club. Don't worry about the JDM/American....a good club is a good club.

There are both "U.S Spec" and "Japan Spec" for sale in this region, the Japan Spec is more expensive in my country. For drivers, the shafts of Japan Spec items are usually softer, and are thought to be more suitable for Asians who are generally smaller in stature.

Driver brands such as Epon and Tourstage definitely feel and sound different than Taylormade, but preference is entirely subjective. Some like muted sound...some like louder impact sounds. Others could care less as long as their drive goes far and straight...

I've owned a set of Titleist 690mb's and a couple of sets of Srixons (I506's and now I701's) ... I can honestly

say that those Srixon Clubs feel and play very very well.
