Anyone using a magenetic or "negative ion" bracelet?

I have seen popularity jump on these. Do they really work or is it more a "placebo effect" and mind over body comes into play?

If you use one, what do you wear and what benefits do you feel you received from them? Anyone have one and think they are a load of garbage?

I am mainly interested in hearing from people who use it and can speak first hand about if it is a piece of crap or really works.

I wear the Titan one, it doesnt do anything its more a mind thing and a fashion statement.

I wear the q-link. My wife almost divorced me because of it.

I have a Q-Ray Balance bracelet courtesy of Santa, I can tell no difference in wellness and balance as they claim.

i've got a trion:z bracelet and the only benefits i have received is a cool tan line on my wrist. don't think it does anything but it looks cool and beats plain rubber bands.

It may indeed be the placebo effect but it does not matter if it works. I wore the magnetic for about three years because of problems that I have with my knuckles from playing golf. Plecebo or not it helped. I went with the Balance Braclet because the magnets keft falling out or my other one. The first Balance Braclet worked better than the magnetic. I had it for about 18 months and lost it. I bought another one and this one does better than nothing but does not seem to do as good at the first one, but still better than the magnetic. I know that does not fit your other post, but everyone that I have talked to that wears them say that they also see relief. So it might the amount of pain you have. I have extreme pain when I play alot of golf if I do not wear it. MY normal day to day I do not have the pain. If I hit a shot fat fat it is about enough pain to end my round if I am not wearing the braclet.

my story and I am sticking to it.

I got a Trion:Z at the PGA Show. I was skeptical, but decided to give it a try. I found the following:

--My wrist and elbow used to ache all the time from hitting too many balls off mats. Had the problem for years and could not get rid of it. After about an hour of putting on the bracelet, it went away.

--My wife has had chronic headaches and migraines to the point where she was taking advil daily and almost every 4-6 hours for almost a year. She now only takes 2-3 doses per week.

---My father-in-law has had arthritis in his hands and hip problems since he fell a couple of years ago and hurt it. He has not been able to golf and has been getting more and more hunched over due to the pain. He got a Trion:Z bracelet and was feeling better, so he got another. Since wearing two bracelets, my mother in-law says he is standing straighter and has stopped complaining about his hips and hands. He is now playing golf a couple times a week, and he is telling all his friends about the bracelets.

I don't know if it is Voodoo, Placebo, or what, but the results have been remarkable to the point that I believe!

I read tons of research articles and testimonials...so I bought one last night (Trion-z). I did not put in on right away and figured I would start in the morning.

I have a arthritis and my hands/wrist kill me in the morning and improve through the day.

My wife put it on me in my sleep and woke up with my right wrist and hand not hurting, but my left one did. I would rule out placebo since I was not aware that I was wearing it. It helped so much, I am buying another one to put on my left wrist.

I was skeptical, but it did work.

Q-Link... If I didn't have this necklace on Id be in jail due to the terrible drivers here in Flori-Duh.. Think what you want but I am not giving any of them up, EVER. I had the copper bracelet, the magnetic bracelet, the surgical steel from Miorca, the Titan and the Trion-Z is the best "Placebo, snake oil, hair tonic blah, blah and blah" It works for me.

In fact I had shoulder surgery that I had put off for quite some time but my Doctor told me that it was time so I went ahead and got it done and was golfing 4 days later and just today shot 73... Your mind is a crazy thing. On the 2nd hole I was thinking that the Tylenol allergy stuff was working great and 2 minutes later I was sneezing. When we made the turn I asked the older guy that was riding with me if he had to use the bathroom like "all the older guys" and after hitting my tee shot on 12 I had to stop at "TheHead"... Nobody can tell you what to think, which is great... People think that Tour Equipment will turn their games around and how does that work out? Yeah, that's what I thought. Im keeping them, all of them.

Trion:Z. I wear them.

I use the Trion:z Bracelet and to me it is a big help. I have 2 Titan Bracelets and they are ok, but the Trionz to me at least do what they are supposed to do, which is keep some the aches and pains away...

In college I used to wear a Sabona copper bracelet, mainly because my favorite player at the time, Justin Leonard, did and I thought it looked cool. Used to tell people it was to help with my old baseball injuries, but all it really did was turn my wrist green.

Fast-foward seven years, and I picked up a few Phiten bracelets to see if they might actually help with my old baseball injuries (which are now beginning to be more noticeable). Aside from a stiff back from time to time, I tore my rotator cuff in high school, and my shoulder would always be really sore after a day of heavy activity.

I figure the Phitens look good, if nothing else, so its worth a shot.

The first test was this week, I still coach baseball, and after throwing my first round of batting practice in tryouts (to twenty kids), my shoulder really felt good. The rest of my arm was pretty sore from my first extended throwing of the year, but there was no pain in my shoulder. Don't really care if this is mental or a result of the product, I'm thrilled!!!
