The original MP's, (not the newer R or T models), are the best wedges I ever found... Love em! :tongue: :)

I love the Tour Style Mizuno Wedges. Hav a set of them but replaced it with Cleveland and then with Vokey. But

the Mizuno's are great feeling good spinning wedges.

Regarding the Mizuno "T" Wedges...

The "T" stands for the Teardrop shape, not "Tour" as some people seem to think....

soft feel, great around the greens, spin as much as spin milled, but dont ruin balls.

MP series were the worst wedges I have ever hit. I couldn't flight these low at any cost. No matter how you swing them, they go ridiculously high. Not only did I lose control, but these were 7-10 yds. shorter than my 588's with comparable lofts. I have recently hit the mp R's and they produced a completely different trajectory with more spin. JMO.

I have the original MP Series Chrome 60.06* and 54.09* and they don't go anywhere near rediculously high to me. I love the look and feel of these wedges and they spin great.

I carry the 52, 54, and 60 in the MP Series. Ball flight is high but not too high. Would like to see a little more spin from 120 and in. Looking to try the spin milled Vokey's.

I love Mizuno irons but for some reason can't get on with the MPT raw haze wedges.

Stuck with them for three or four months now but have to admit defeat and will probably go back to my old Vokey 200s.

The Vokeys are more consistent and easier to shape. have to agree with Steenboat; MPT are really hard to shoot in low for a two hop and stop. Vokeys are more amenable and I find the spin more consistent too.

which do you guys like the most between the mpt and mpr wedges?

yes, I'm curious here as well... my Vokeys really scuff the ball. I am sitting with a set of MP 60s, which end at a wedge loft of 47... My vokeys start at 54...I see that I can get a Mizzy wedge at 51 degrees. what do people think of the MP t versus the MPrs?

mp-r are softer, rounder looking and more versatile around greens with the great sole grinds.

I got a 56* & 60* MP-T chrome (the old ones). I found them on eBay for $120 for both, thought it was a good deal. I actually thought I was getting the new MP-T's, anyway I gotta say, for the money I spent, I think I did well. What I love about the them is the feel. The forging on these things is excellent. I perfer soft feel, and these fit the bill.

I have the 54 and I do love the club but to me it seems a bit heavy and I hit the ball shorter with this club than the Taylormade but I would still recommend this club as it has a nice feel.

I have a set of the black ox and MPR models. Both excellent. Love the shape and feel.

I just got the MP-T Raw Haze (56 and 60) brand new for 39 each at GPP. I also picked up a 53* MP-T 2008 with the C - Grind really cheap on ebay.

I only bought the raw haze because they were great deals and haven't even hit them yet. My question to you guys is how big of a difference will the different grinds be to me? I love the c-grind on the 53 and have been using it all around the greens. Should I just sell the Raw Haze ones before I use them and find a good deal on the newer MP-Ts with C-grind. Can anyone tell me the difference in the grinds between the MP-R and MP-T? Personally I like the way the T looks in my hand - smaller and gives me a sense of control.

The older MP-T ones still look like great wedges and I just want to make sure I won't notice too much of a difference before I start hitting them. The raw haze finish will come off pretty quickly and I'll lose a lot of re-sale value.
