What'd you do @ golf practice today

I thought I'd start this thread since our practice has started and I don't want to fill up the "What'd You Shoot Today" thread when we don't usually go out and just play a full round.

Anyway, today we went around to different holes and chipped from different spots on the greens. Then we played 3-4 holes(I had 4 pars), then we putted for a 1/2 hour.

all my team ever does is play 9 holes. a lotta the kids go to their clubs too and practice. ud think with the good team we have, we might actuallly go to the range or putt once in a while, but all we do is play and we dont even get to warm b4 we play.

All we do is play 9 holes too.

we started off with some volleys, then moved back to groundstrokes. after that we warmed up our serves a little bit, and then served to some cones. Then we played 2 doubles sets.

I wish I didnt have golf right now!! The weather is so terrible. First meet on tuesday so I better get used to it.

My team split up in groups and played 9 holes today. Yesterday we had skill challenges. It was the varsity against the JV and of course the varsity won. The day before that we split up in groups of 4 and played a scramble. Except each person could only take their driver or 3-wood and a putter. For each group, we could pick 3 other clubs that each person in the group could share.

Yup, golf for us is in the fall aswell! But for myself, I just went out and hit some balls, I'm desperately waiting for my course to open up!! All the other courses in thte area are fully open, but I guess we just had some problems with frost heaves and whatnot, so 1-2 weeks I'll be practicing/playing full time instead of just hitting balls to random targets, which DOES get boring after a while.

ya my highschool team only plays nine holes too, but when i practice on my own i try to practice short for 50% of my time and 50% at the range...

Putting For Maybe 20 Minutes Played Holes 15-18, Watched 6 Hcp Junior From My Club Practice

After shooting a beautiful :) 88 in a league match the other day, I decided to skip playing and went straight to the range. I went through 2 large buckets (100 or so balls each) with mostly irons and a couple drives. I figured out that my stance with the longer clubs had gotten too narrow and that was causing me to hook the ball. I then went to the practice green and worked on lag putting for about a half hour while the guys who were playing finished. The course had hosted the pro test and so the pins were all in the middle of the greens (missed a good opportunity to shoot a good score) so play was slow out there.

You guys probably don't even know how lucky you are. There is no highschool sports in Good ol' Europe. (that means no highschool golf as well.)

I nursed a blister that formed right in between the bases of my middle and ring fingers on my left hand, all the while trying not to do anything to irritate it. I forgot my glove!

Are golf team practice isn't until tuesday. But today since the course isn't opening till tomorrow I went to the course's range since it was open and hit balls for like 30-40 min, then I went on the putting green for like 20 min...I just wanted to go out and mess around a little bit nothing to serious.

My team goes to the range to hit a small bucket of balls then we go out and play 9. Our coach doesnt usually say much.
