First and foremost I would like to thank Golfwrx and its staff for putting together such a generous exchange offer for the membership. I enjoy snapping pics anyway, but its great that others can now get some enjoyment out of them as well.

I'm new to this board but I recognize many of you from BSG, TSG and the like... so I'm not exactly new to the golf board thing  My first impressions of this site are very good and I look forward to spending quite a bit of time here and hopefully even chiming in occasionally with some good info.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to shoot me a PM or post... I'll keep an eye out and try to answer what I can :cheesy:

Oh... and some quickie observations while I'm thinking aobut it...

If you think you can beat David Duval you are wrong... He was hitting it pretty damned good for a Pro and much much better than any amature I've seen. I wouldn't be supprised to see things comming around for him. And he still has the S2H2 three wood in the bag.

Hammering Hank really does hammer it and he was goofing with the Titleist 904 Prototype for a good amount of time (as was Robert Gamez, Lary Mize and a few others). He also had some blue Aldila Prototypes in a set of Callaway fairway woods... I have no idea about them other than that they said "Aldila Prototype".

The R7 fairway woods and dual rescues are catching on pretty quick... I saw almost no V-Steels or regular rescues.

Guerin Rife makes some SICK putters as long as you aren't talking about the 2-Bar monstrosity. The rep let me hold a Mid-Mallet design in oil can with a santa fe style flow neck... I fell in love and I'd about give a finger or a nut to have one :vava:

Maru, his playing partners and his crew were damned cool. No one was following them and they waved me out to check out their bags close up (like at a strip club, no touching though). I even shot the breeze with the player who's name is in Japaneese on his bag about his X-Blades and my Z-101's. (I don't know what his name is though because I can't read Japaneese  )

Thats it for now... flex that broad band muscle and enjoy :D

yo adam (yeah its me zojo from TSG)

those are some sweet pics that you got. I'm glad to see alot of maru and his gang's bag. You really deserve that shaft and I hope you like it. You need to stop by in the TSG chat more often though, I know you go in when i'm not there but you and your dad should come and hang out, it gets rather boring sitting in there by myself :vava:

Great pics!  Wie is as tall or taller than most of the guys in her group.  Shigeki is always flawlessly dressed and has an aura around him such that you know he is the star of his group.  I noticed he switched from the MR-23 blades when I saw him at Torrey Pines to the new X-blades.

Still has the MR23's in the bag it seems...I love those irons :vava:

Hands down the BEST ITB tourney pics. I've seen on the net! :D Posts like this are what seperate a good site from a great one. (and I've only looked at the 1st page)

Is that a complete set of 660s and Vokey wedges in a TM staff???

Na's Cameron is sick! Love the CAMERON script in the cavity. The CAMERON and CAMERON & CO. badged Scotty's have become my fav.

A few other observations, but there were so many great visuals in that post that I really can't process it all right now :vava:

Great shot of Wie's Nike/Newport II

Thanks for the kind words on the pics guys, I'm glad everyone is enjoying them.

Wie DEFINATELY looks good in pants... I had to remind myself that she's only 14 on several occasions. It will be fun to watch her mature into a woma... i mean... golfer :hi:

DD was killing the ball on the range. His irons were high, soft and well controlled and his driver was flying on a penetrating 5 yard cut that carried forever. He looked to be still fighting a big block aobut every 10th shot, but even so I think he may be in position to get it rolling.

Maru still had the MR-23's with "Maru" on the sole... the Tourstage X-Blades belonged to the bag Dwayne is having translated :D

The Titleist 660's were in fact a full set in a Taylormade Staff bag, and to be honest I couldn't even tell they were special when I took the pic. My camera is lucky enough to have a 10X optical zoom so I caught a couple treasures I didn't even know I had :D

Keep the questions and comments comming and I'll keep trying to relay the little I know

Great Pics> I wish I had my dig camera when I was at TPC Sawgrass many years ago. I am always able to get next to the players. One time I was in the Caddy room when there was a rain delay. All the bags to look at and enjoy.

Funny to see a few Un chromed irons. They would seem sweet to me. Looks like Hogan is still putting heavy plugs in their long irons. Saw that with Langer. His irons were not chromed and looked to have some plugs in the muscle back.

Do companies ever release what we want?

Cant get a Vokey Spin mill in Raw or an M grind.

CLeveland cg2's are copies of the 588P cavities. Story was that DD used to play the 588 blades and had mizuno copy them and poof you have the MP 14's.

I am way beyond confused with Titleist now. How many irons sets do they have now? 5 sets of forged blades?

I remember when Titleist told me they would NEVER produce forged irons because they are inconsistant to manufacture. haha.

I have to get out to a tour quick and take some pics. I sure miss that chance.

Great pics cant wait to see more from the days to come.

Cheers,

ERich

Excellent photos, interesting photo of Kuehne checking out Duvals golf clubs. Photos of Hank are great it would be great to see him live up to all the expectations. His swing from the pics looks good. Cool photos of ZJ, Badds, and Wie during there pratice round. Will see make the cut? Probably not.

13760

Idk... I could see Wie making the cut out there. I've played the course a couple times and if you keep the ball in play and remain patient getting to 1 or 2 under (usually about what the cut is) should be in the cards for her. But regardless if she makes it or not, I'm sure her participation will make for lots of good discussion :vava:

Who is playing the Bridgestone Combos???  Also is the close up of the FT-3 Hank's???

13768

The FT-3 is Hanks... supprised me too that he was hitting a 10.5* head.

There were 2 or 3 players with the Bridgestone combo's in the bag, but for the life of me I couldn't name you a name. They were some lesser tier players that I'm not familiar with and their bags always seemed to be facing the wrong direction.

Those are to retail CG2s what John Force's top fuel funny car is to a retail Mustang. Whoever applied the paintfill to the CG2 emblams on those must have been laughing when they did it.
