His book will be both much better organized and will contain much more detailed information on the nitty-gritty of the swing than the ET. .Wordmixer will keep us all informed as to its contents and its progress.

I caution people who want to read that. It was compiled from Geoff's post by someone else. Naturally there could be some errors in his posts so when

he says in he could have meant out and when he said x he could have meant y. The best thing to do is to go see the man or contact him directly.

I do not believe one can learn Geoff's stuff without getting his input directly or getting the input of someone that is familiar with what he teaches.

Russ is a great resource and so are dan whittaker's videos.

+1. As one who has worked on it for a few years now without

the benefit of seeing Geoff I can vouch for that.

I'll go thru periods of decent ballstriking and then lose it again

and have to go back and re-read the ET and watch Whittaker's

videos on Gotham to try and figure out what I'm doing.

It seems so magical when you really thump a few good irons

in a row and you wish you could just bottle it up, put a lock on

it and go play some good golf. But it is elusive and it's tough

to figure out what's going wrong on your own.

It will be available immediately after Mac's book hits the shelves.

I have the .pdf ... just have to find some time to read it.

    image/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Quick read through the whole thing.

Some pretty important missing pieces etc.

For me golf is visual and I learn better through watching, not reading.

Hopefully slicefixer's book is FULL of illustrations !

Wordmixer posted a week or so ago that it looks like it may be released this summer some time around the US Open. June I guess? I know how hard it can be to interpret something from a book or forum so I am heading to see him. I have only been working on it for a couple of months and I have seen my ball striking improve especially with the irons but maybe not so much with the driver. I am hitting my irons longer and straighter. My divots are better than they have ever been, long and thin.

It is so hard to really tell what you are doing on your own, unless you are videoing yourself regularly. I used to take a camera and computer to the range every time I practiced but I haven't for a year or so. I also used to have a camera set up in my basement with an awesome hitting net but we moved two years ago and I do not have the space at the new place. So I really have no idea what my swing looks like right now. One thing is for sure, Geoff will change my swing. I am sure I am not swinging correctly.

It seems like the book has been talked about for about 2 or 3 years now. I really hope it comes to fruition, but I'm not holding my breath.

    (3) The 200pg "full compilation" one is really just copy/pasted responses from slicefixer; no chapters or nothing, just 200 pages of his posts.

The condensed version is structured and very readable.

    slicefixerthoughts2.pdf 1.49MB 1126 downloads (as of April 2013) - the full compliation.

    slicefixertexarkana1.pdf 634.29K 3825 downloads (as of April 2013) - shorter condensed guide - 48 page PDF.

Q: are the 48 page PDF and the 70 page PDF different ?

Alot of Geoff's teach is derived from his study of Hogan. If you ever see the first 2 minutes of the 9-3 video you will see why alot of Hogan qualities exists in Geoff's students.

Wrong thread brother. Do a search on the book and you'll find your answer(s).
