Footjoy Debuts New GF: II Golf Shoes

I just went to their website, shoe looks nice. The sole looks VERY futuristic which I like, similar to my Dryjoys. Still not as good as the SP-7 TW though :vava:

Footjoy has released a new golf shoe… is it just me or is July a really odd time to release a shoe? The Footjoy GF: II features a Wishbone Suspension system (for increased stability), Pittards leather (a high-end leather), a gel pocket around the ankle and a 2 year waterproof warranty. I won’t sit here and bore you with all the details but check out the Footjoy website for more information. The GF: II’s will begin shipping July 15th.

GX, Footjoy has always done it this way. Don't ask me why. :vava: What really makes July release dates for all new lines tough, is that FJ begins to run out of sizes in the disc. styles in late May/June. Then the new styles won't be out until July. :D

Am I the only one who thinks FJ is losing their sense of style? I just think they they are trying too hard to make better shoes when they already had something that looks great. Even their new Classic line is weird.

What else does the new shoe have? Disc brakes? All wheel drive? A navigation system?

I agree with you here... I don't see any huge differences than some of their old stuff.

IMO FJ has been the industry standard for awhile now for good reason. They take risks on tech-y stuff like this, and the PRO, and those Gelfusions a couple of years ago that looked like a Raider's helmet...and if it doesn't work they get out of the style-FAST. That's why they have so many closeouts, out with old in with the new sort of thing.

That said, they will always keep a line of Classics, and Classics Dry Premeire around for the disserning HO :vava: with $400 to drop. This year they even had that hybrid Classics / DryJoy that worked out pretty good.

(Plus you can get WIIIIDE sizes, as necessary)

good, now that means the original gel fusions should be cheaper :vava:
