Single or group?

I prefer to be alone, luckily [for me] the juniors at my club don't practise often so I usually get it my way. It's fun the have a chat and stuff but I just never get the job done and in the end feel like I've wasted my time.

Definately alone - if I'm going to practice there is something I am working on. If I want to hang out with my buddies, I'll stay at home. At the range I have found that headphones (even if they aren't on) work pretty well at eliminating disruptions.

I never play alone.

If im practicing its because i need to work on things. im always working on things. I like to practice alon. ill go down to the opposite end of the range to the far cornar of the box and setup. ill put out a chair, my video cam, the mirror thats at that end of the range and get to work. i also have np problem playing by myself eiher after a long hard day of practicing. i love playing with my buddies tho.

Like pretty much all of you have said. If I am practicing on something then I will go by myself. And if I just want to play with some friends and just do some small bets or something then I will go with them. It depends on how I am feeling and how I want to play. For instance yesterday a friend and I went to a local 9 hole course since the course were members to isn't open yet. And we played 9 then he left and I played another 9 by myself...That was a sad day for my golf game. Usually I shoot low 90's like 91 and I shot a 109 :)

By myself...If I were to play with other juniors(which I still do alot) I'd like them to be as good or better than me, a challenge. But its hard to find any better junior players at my course.

Also when I play by myself I can play rounds in almost under 3 hours, so I can get alot more holes in, in one day.

I love playing with anyone, I can play witha group of buddies, or with just randoms at the course. But practice is meant to be done alone and with my IPOD.

For me it depends on the ability of the players . I'd hate to play in a foursome with 3 hacks ; but i like playing in groups with pros and good players.

When I play I like to play with ther people if they are nice people.

If I'm practicing or working on something I like to be alone

When I need to work on something I will be on myself or with my pro. Like some of you all have said, if there is something particular in my game that I am struggling with and trying to work out, then I will go out and do it on my own. I am out at the golf course every single day, so when I'm just pittling around and practicing something I worked on the previous day (and I think I have down) I LOVE to play games and practice with other people. Now on the course --> I always play after I have worked on something, or practiced short game, etc. So then, I love playing with other people, I don't mind if they are 'okay' golfers, I enjoy the company, and (a lot) more times than not, the person you meet is a really nice individual. Of course when I'm in a hurry I personally can whip around our back nine in 50 minutes if I am playing by myself, so that would the only time I would LIKE to play without company.

I like to play and practice with other juniors but I usually end up practicing by myself.

I hate playing a course as practice with someone else because I like hitting different shots just not off my ball.

I'll hit a drive then throw three balls down and hit a PW, 9 iron and 8 iron to the green, then ill chip around and putt for a while, as long as the course is not busy.
