Selecting new irons...Need more forgivness...

MP60's are good, but I like the MP32's better, sorry don't know about the other two.

The X-tours are going to be by far the most forgiving of the ones listed. The MP-60's and CG2's are not very forgiving and a VERY small improvement from your 30's.

If you are looking at Callaways, I would consider the X-18 Pro Series rather than the X-Tour, I found the offset and topline thickness to be comparable, but the X-18 Pro Series are more forgiving on those days when your "A" swing doesn't show up.

I demo'd the MP-60s / MP-32s recently, and I thought they both felt very nice, but I'm not sure how much forgiveness you would find in either, and going from the MP-30 I'm not sure if you would notice a significant difference.

I play the lts and they are very forgiving, much more than the mp32s. If you can find a place that will let you demo the clubs that would be your best option to convince yourself and don't just demo the clubs one day, do it a couple of times before you make up your mind.

Did you consider the Srixon i-506's? A great combination of feel and forgiveness. Also, they're reasonably priced at $699.99, and you get a number of shaft upgrades (e.g. rifle, project x ...) at no upcharge.

I play the MX-23's and they are mucho forgiving, maybe a bit more GI club than you'd prefer considering the irons you listed but not too far away from the LT's (the trajectory is certainly going to be higher than the LT's but probably close to the MP-60's). The Bridgestone J33 forged cavity backs are worthy of consideration, saw them in a shop and they have more of a "players" profile than the MX-23's (similar profile IMO to the MP-60's) and all the reviews I've seen have been outstanding. A 5 handicap friend of mine swears by his Nike Pro Combo Tours and I think those are comparable to the irons you listed as well. Good luck.

I did not really like the LT2's when I hit them. They have much more offset than the other sets you have mentioned. You really noticed it in the 3-5 irons. I could not get comfortable looking over them. They are rather solid clubs, even though many on there like the original LT's better.

I own a set of X-tour's and think they are awesome. I love the forgiveness they give me. Don't confuse this for a game improvement club though, they are going to be less forgiving than like a PING or something comparable. But for a forged club that has minimal offset they are a wonderful mix of forgiveness and workability.

From what I have read others say, they MP60's will be more forgiving than the MP30's. The MP30's ended up not being that much more forgiving -- if any -- than the MP32's. I would assume you will launch the MP60's higher based on the lower COG.

The CG2's are solid club. I actually had a demo of one out with me at the club the last couple days. They look really good, are really soft, and perform well. I don't know now much more forgiveness they are going to give you over the MP30's. If you want to look at a Cleveland that has rather traditional looks and forgiveness, look at the CG4 Tours. The stock shaft is a little weak to flex, but you can tell that the head provides a lot of forgiveness. On well struck hits you are not going to give up any distance or feel either.
