Awsome wedge! I have the 54* and 58*. Great spin and feel. Only downside is I'm shredding ProV1 covers like cheese with these wedges, but I can deal with that.

The first shot I hit with my 60 was a 70 yard approach from the rough, landed it pin high spun it back 10 feet! From the fairway you can spin it like a PRO! When you buy them, and you will, look for the deep mill marks on the face they are a wedge players delight!

Just wanted to add my 2 cents on the RAC TP Black with Y Cutter..... These things are sick (in a good way!). Great feel and grind and the spin on these bad boys are ridiculous with little ball scuffing. Always played Vokey's but won this wedge in a tournament. All I can say is good bye Vokey's!

I'm wondering if I should try a 60.06 or a 58.08 and bend it to 59 or 60 because it has the c-grind sole that is on my 54.10????

Anybody do this? Or have impressions of the lob?

These wedges are great i have a 52 and a 60 the latter of which im having to take to my club smith to grind the sole to my likeing , The control on all shot, full or not is out standing i think TM will be hard pressed to beat this wedge . We might be seeing the next 588

These are the best wedges I have ever hit. The "Y" cutter grooves help with the spin on the ball more dramatically than I thought they would. My short game has greatly improved since I put these wedges in my bag.

i've played both, and i MUCH prefer the TM over the Vokeys...

Do all the black y cutters have a Y stamped on the toe of the club or does this mean anything special?

I played these for the first time yesterday and they are the best wedges I've ever played with. It's almost like cheating. These stop the ball on a dime and have excellent feel. I hit a shot from about 35yds to a tucked pin on a par 5 for my 3rd shot. I thought I hit it too hard but it landed right next to the pin and just stopped. Tap in birdie. ;) I guarantee you that my Cleveland wedge would've rolled at least 6-7 past. They're great out of bunkers and easy to chip with. Needless to say, I'm dumping all of my Cleveland wedges and I have about 6 of them.

Got the 52 degree with 8* bounce. I love it. Great feel, ballance, spin, control. i want a 58. If anyone has a 58 or even 60 for sale PM me.

and Kenry, the Y on the top corner of the face means its a TP with the Y cutter grooves. there is such thing as a RAC black without the Y cutter grooves. its not TP.

I love the wedges around the greens, but on full shots, you better have an extra ball handy on the next tee because you are about to scuff the cover. Switched from the Cleveland 900 series and haven't looked back. Have the 52 and 56 degree in LH. Money clubs.

Any info on the new black feel pockets vs the grey feel pockrts on the Taylormade black Tp wedges ???? I hear the back doesn't rust as easily. Any truth to this ?

Does it matter about the tp bit ? i dont no what to get the tp (chrome) or vokey 252

I am looking to get some new wedges and I can't decide between the Black TP wedges or the Spin-milled Vokeys. I like the look of the both of them and I can't make up my mind. I currently have rac chrome wedges (which have the spin milled face) and love it, but the milling is finally wearing off and I can notice that the ball doesn't "check up" like it used to. Can anyone tell me which 56* wedge has a thinner top line? Also what is the bounce on the TM's?

Are these the same to the RAC Satin TP wedges. Is the only difference the color/finish?

TM had some Rac wedges a few years ago that are different, but the Rac TPs I belive are all the same.

Just bought 56 and 60. These are awesome wedges . I like the sharp leading edge . I have the satin Y cutters . Now i want a set of black TP wedges .

I have tried cleveland, F2 , solus , vokeys and took a while to get to these.

It is funny how probably 80% of the posters on this wedge no longer bag them in the signature.

I just got the 56* on ebay for 21.50 WOW! This is by far the best wedge I've ever had. It has allowed me to hit shots that I have tried with other wedges but failed. The low 40 yard shot that bounces once or twice and stops on a dime is no longer a shot I wish I could hit, it is a shot that is easy to do. After playig this wedge only twice I've decided to get the 52* as well.
