Clubs made in the USA

which brands still have US manufacturing?
I'm wondering which major golf club brands still manufacturer clubs in the USA.
Ping still makes all their clubs in Karsten Arizona as far as I know. I have heard that Mizuno irons are made somewhere in Georgia. Titleist used to be made in the US, not sure if they still are.

Anyone know of any other US facilities? I think we can probably count out Nike... Any idea on TM or Callaway?
Everything I have bought from TM and Call'y were either made in China and assembled in US or (latest offerings - x-22's, R9) made AND assembled in China.

I even heard a rumor that the 15 series from Ping is now made in China.

Don't know about Titleist.
The Ping i15 Irons: Head made in China, assembled in the US. Stock AWT Shaft made in US.

Yeah nobody does USA anymore, Ping does a little. Mizuno has a couple models of forging still in Japan and a few Precision Forged (basically a Cast) in China. All the bigs use China. All your Cally, Titleist, Tm if it says forged it really isn't it is just poured into a mold and compressed so you can still get air bubbles. China makes Precision Forgings cause it's cheap.

Lots of companies assemble in the USA, but very few heads are still made here.

Callaway X-Forged UT 21° / Fujikura Ventus Black 10-TX

Callaway X-Forged UT 25° / Nippon Super Peening Blue X hs1x

Raw Mizuno MP-32 6-PW / Nippon Super Peening Blue X hs1x
Everything is made in China now. All the major brands, including PING. The only heads made in the USA are, I think, Scotty Cameron putters. Mizuno iron heads are forged in Japan and assembled in the US.
As far as putters, Scotty Cameron is definitely not alone.

I might be wrong but I thought Scotties were made in China also.

We get our raw forgings from Japan but do literally everything else to our Tour Department clubs at our shop in Chattanooga TN. All of our finishes are also done in the USA.

To give you guys some history of Scratch we actually tried to go with a foundry in the USA when we first started so we could be 100% made in the USA but Hoffman went out of business shortly after sending us some prototypes early in 2003. They were the last American foundry unfortunately.

 • 1 month later...

I had a set of Hoffman forged blades that I assembled myself and must say that I posted some of the lowest scores with those and I believe that they were some of finest clubs I have ever hit.

At the time I was playing a lot of golf with a lad that had tried to make the PGA tour and failed about 15 years ago and he and I played a lot together. He was an alcoholic sadly and kind of wasted away but knew the golf swing.

All clubheads are made in Asia nowdays. Most cast clubheads are made in China or Taiwan and most forged clubheads are made in Japan. Even Ping now has their clubheads cast in China.
As far as which ones are ASSEMBLED in the USA, Ping, Titleist, Taylormade, Mizuno, and Callaway assemble their clubs in the USA.
Who cares?! I don't give a sh*t where my clubs are made, how good they are or how much I pay. Just as long as they are very popular and the company sponsors as many people on tour as they can. Same goes for everything else I buy! What is wrong with people?!

Having them made in China certainly didn't lower the price point any either!

Huh, huh, like any other business, they are looking at margins, it is never for the benefit of the customers or to improve quality...
