Member tournament tee gifts

I am looking for any ideas for tee gifts for my members during the upcoming season. Over the past ten years, we have (what I think) exhausted every different item to think of for each event. I welcome any suggestions from anyone who have played in tournaments in the past. They may be unique or something you thought would be cool. I need your help! Please PM me with any suggestions.

At our member guest this year we gave away a nice wallet and money clip with the club logo on them one day....the other days had the normal shirt, balls, socks

What about a leather pad type thing to hold a score card or yardage book. Something that will fit in a back pocket. Could try to get the course logo on it or individualize with initials

That's a nice item, but how many golfers carry a yardage book or carry their scorecard? Not that many. Only a handful of people in the tournament would have any use for it.

The last member/guest I played in everybody got custom fit Rife putters. Might be more than you want to spend?

Depends on your budget I played in a member/guest that they gave GPS units?

One of the nicest gifts I received was a Swiss Army golf knife. The usual Swiss Army pocket knife but with a pitchmark repair fork built in. It may be possible to get these still - maybe even to get them logoed. A bit different from the usual 'pitchmark repair tool with ball marker combo complete with club crest'.

I would say a players towel with the event and club logo on it. just order a bunch of white towels and take them and get them screenprinted or you can now order the old school barrel covers from ping again, maybe pick a color and send in what you want embroidered on it.

How much are you looking to spend?

a dozen premium balls with your club logo. boring, yes, but you can't go wrong and everyone can use them. might as well go with something you know they'll use.

The member guest I played in this year...they gave the guests a choice of different models of scotty studio selects The members were given a choice of different styles of Maui Jim's and they really seemed to like it. The Maui's might be a nice choice if you have the budget.

Thank you everyone for your replies. My budget is going to be the biggest obstacle. I only have $50 per person for the first event I was thinking of. The bigger event is later and have a much bigger budget for that one. Please keep them coming.

I would check out Iliac golf and see if there is something there that you like that maybe you can personalize.

Their leather headcovers and other products are really cool and different and would meet your $50 per player budget. All of their stuff can be customized as well. Just a thought.

While this might not work for $50 a person, I like it when the club gives each player an amount to spend at a Titleist, Callaway, TaylorMade or other tent. I went to a M/G in Ohio and each player got $120 or so to spend at the Titleist tent. They had shoes, gloves, clubs, balls, shirts, etc. You could spend more obviously, but the first $120 was free.

My club did the same thing last year with Callaway stuff. There were several packages to choose from. The package I chose was a Callaway shirt, dozen Tour iX balls, 2 gloves and a hat. Retail value around $125 or so.

Some players might like golf balls while others like shoes. But offering several options keeps everyone happy IMO.

Here is something to go with...a leather wallet with the club logo and a nice leather valuables pouch. These are great quality (I have several of both) and have a nice medallion that is milled with the clubs logo.

I would love to get these gifts in a member guest...something that everyone can use...and not brand specific.

We do utilize the Titleist tent for our annual Invitation tournament. It is a huge hit for the players. Since they are ams and some of the best players in AZ, they grab all the balls and wedges they can.

I like the idea of logo wallets, hat clipx, headcovers, etc. The problem is, I have to get it approved by my Director of Golf.

Being in the military, we love to recieve coins from other commands or organizations. You could get one made up with your logo with the players name and date on them. With engraving and a keepsake box it should put you under $50.

They could be used as ball markers or as a keep sake...just an idea.
