Another Solid Month For Adams Golf

Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by to check us out. It’s been a busy day (and unfortunately a sad day) in the world of golf. Let’s get to it!

First off… I’m sure you all know about the passing of Earl Woods. This is obviously a very sad day for the Woods family and I thought I’d pass along a statement from Nike that we received in our email this afternoon…

Nike extends its deepest condolences to Tiger Woods and the Woods family on the passing of Tiger's father, Earl Woods. The thoughts and prayers of Nike's global family are with him at this time.

Speaking of Nike… here’s a quick “What’s In The Bag” for Zurich Classic champion Chris Couch. Couch used a Nike SQ Tour 460 with a UST Accra SE80 shaft, Nike SQ fairway woods, a Nike Slingshot hybrid, Nike Pro Combo OS irons, Nike wedges, a Ping Craz-E putter and a Nike One Platinum ball in his win. Nike Golf is putting together a very solid year on the PGA Tour!

The month of March was a strong one for Adams Golf. Golf Datatech… the guys that track the sales of golf equipment… reports that the Adams Idea a2/a2 OS irons were the most popular irons at off course specialty retail shops during the month. The Idea a2 is a great iron and this is actually the third time that they have topped this list. Want more information? Check out the Adams Golf website for more details.

The boys over at have changed their website a bit and it looks great. I talked a bit about Quagmire Golf a few months ago. The company is the brainchild of two young guys looking to make their mark in the golf clothing business. I talked to the guys the other day and they say that their styles have really caught on. Quagmire has also secured a contract to provide souvenir clothing for the 2006 Bell Canadian Open. Not a bad gig! Swing over to Quagmire’s website and check out some of their products. I really like how the guys have created stlyes that have a real skate/surf feel to them. This is the kind of stuff that you can wear in both casual and golf settings.

And the pink trend continues… Club Glove has announced that they have added “Pink Champagne” as a new color option for it’s line of luggage and travel cases. I guess it’s one good way to identify your luggage at the airport… no word on whether or not SirPuttsAlot has placed his order yet…
