In 10 easy steps!

Here are some things to keep you under control after you hit a bad shot or miss an easy putt....

1. Take ten breaths
2. Yell into a towel away from the opponent.
3. Think of beautiful girls LOL (works for males)
4. Count to ten
5. Try thinking about yourself being on beatiful TPC Sawgrass 17th hole, and you just hit the green....from the tips!
6. Eat a crunchy granola bar
7. Think of all the good shots you took before
8. Think of how you will play the next shot, and don´t worry how it got to the bad lie.
9. Count to 20 slowly while walking to the next hole or to your ball.
10.. Tell yourself some lame blonde jokes

Two things that helped me control my anger today...

1) Listening to one of my teamates singing "You're Beautiful" on the hole behind me, goofy kid.

2) Pretending to pull down my pants because I pulled a tee shot which then hit a tree and kicked backwards behind the ladies tees.

i get very mad but rarely do i take it to the next shot

after the shot i think what i need to do to get it in the hole <always works for me

I tend to lose it when its backed up and the group behind pulls up to the tee and makes a lot of noise as your setting up. Usually a quick glance will quiet them down, but I've had to completely back off a few times. When that happens, I'm toast for that hole.

The last time it happend the guy stomped the hill break just as I started my backswing and I hit a hosel rocket. Shame on me for letting it get to me, but the guy didn't even apologize or realize he was an idiot.

The best way to control your anger is to let it all out....violently.

No I'm kidding, I'm a very calm person on the course and never get angry. The first few months of playing golf I used to get very very mad but realised what good it was doing me and sharpened up my act, and now nothing really affects me. I hate playing with people who get mad, it's just disrespectful. Especially in junior tournaments the juniors just go mental. People have to have the strength to stay in the right frame of mind, sometimnes it's difficult because your so focused on playing well, but this game is like that. Same with luck in golf, in golf there is good and bad luck, mostly bad, and you need to aknowledge that you can't help it and just have to accept what happens. Just remember to enjoy yourself, and if the golf really isn't working then enjoy the company, unless they are angry, because then it's hard to talk to them.

i tend to loose it on one hole and after that it all over but, some times punching a tree helps...lol seriously it gets you thinking about your hand instead of your game..or if you can listen to your i-pod

retard ive never seen you punch trees but ive seen you throw clubs and yell sl%t all tha time :)
