Best Golf Socks?

Curious if anyone out there wears well-cushioned, moisture-wicking socks.

A little google search brought up brands of X Socks & Thorlo. Anyone care to share their experiences with any of these or some others I should look into?

I bought about 30 pairs of FJ PRo Dry Extremes and love 'em!

They are thin though.

Got a free pair from a golf outing and they feel great.
Have only been buying these ever since

The TechSof tend to get wrinkled up in my shoes for some reason.

X Action golf socks. I have tried them all and they are the best in my opinion.

Just bought a bunch of these too. Local Superstore is going out of buiness and got them for 50% off!!

These are the best socks i've ever tried for golf (or for any sport!).

+1 for Thorlo....expensive but well worth it. I wear them everyday.

I have recently been hooked on these Under Armour socks. They are really comfortable and the fit is great.

I still have a drawer full of FJ's that a wear as well, but they have taken a backseat currently.

I love the Wilson socks from Wally World. They are just plain cotton (maybe a little spandex) but are the champs. Cheap too.

Since I wear shorts most all year, I wear the FootJoy roll top white. They are great. If the weather dictates that I must wear slacks, then I have a couple of pair of cushioned crew style dress socks that you can purchase anyplace that sells socks.

+1 on underarmour stuff. I wear the low profile ones and I really cant say enough about these. Use them for running too.

I was using Thorlos until I found Balegas (Hidden Comfort model) in a running store.

With shorts I usually wear Adidas "climacool" low cut ones. White with grey bottoms I believe. A little on the thin side but they somehow keep my feet from getting sweaty. They're often available at Marshalls for 50% off retail.

I got turned on to Swiftwick (http://www.swiftwick.com/Sports/golf.htm) and I can assure you that they are totally boss. If you're willing to pay around $12 for a pair of socks, then these should be on a very short list of ones to try out. I have to admit that they can be a little slippery inside my Icons at times, making my heal lift when I first put on my shoes, but my feet have never felt better after a round then when i am wearing these socks. Whatever "Olefin" is, it seems to make sweat disappear.

Kentwool is the best.

+1 on Swiftwick. I have several pair of the olefin and merino wool. In warm weather, the olefin socks are great. Referencing the previous post, I find that they actually slip far less than other brands of socks. The merino wool socks have a little more padding. Give 'em a try!

Kentwool socks are awesome. Expensive but worth it.

Another vote for Kentwool. I really think they reduce foot fatigue.

i have some Adidas in white and UA in black, they are pretty confortable but i dont know the model...

Another vote for Kentwool - after walking 36 in these socks (same shoes as always) I felt like I only walked 9.

Do you wear the sport cut, or the low cut?

Kentwool and swiftwick dictate my golf sock pile. I know socks better than anything and I have 220+ pairs of socks and about 15-20 are swiftwick and 10 kentwools.

If you prefer less cushioned socks, Swiftwick socks are the way to go. It's the only sock I'll wear while playing.
