I understand the disconnect, but Im torn

This is going to get really complicated starting.....now. I am currently playing a 9.5 degreecleveland launcher ti460 with a stock launcher shaft (stiff). I bloody hate the configuration. It baloons, and dies, at around 260-280. Strangely, the longest, the best Ive ever hit a wood, hands down, bar none, was with my original callaway big bertha (if i recall correctly, it was a 10 degree model with an RCH 90 stiff shaft. Okay, as far as precedence is concerned, there is surely a ton of subectivity when one refers to "bombimg" the ball. Buuuut, I used to kill my bertha. 300 on the carry ave. Drove a 414 yard par 4 at mohawk trails once. no it wasnt hard pan, no it wasnt a clay bed. Anyhow, enough of the mindnumbing egocentric invocations. I hate the 460 cc drivers. All of them. Sure they are more forgiving, but they are conversely less accurate. Yes they are little lambies, just read an article in golf magazine concerning this issue...a 10% decrease in Fairways in regulation over the past 5 years on tour. Plus the new trend as i see, is that OEMs are gearing clubhead sizes in retrograde to 420-440. Anyhow, I just want something similar to the callaway big bertha, while retaining some benefit from a larger head, as well as making the most out of new composites/alloys. I figured callaway, considering they made my one and only true love, and the bridgestone j33p due to its modest size. So i guess, what i want to address most is which of these two clubs would be best for A: a "hard, steep ball striker" Id say im more of a JB holmes striker than a Bubba watson striker. And B: give me the capacity to hit the ball straight; start to finish. (any shaft reccomendations as well would be a big help, though i am going to a bridgestone demo day on wednesday in medina ohio. Ive been told bridgestone makes the clubs right then and there to your spec. Hard to believe for sure)
