Golfwrx Contest: Mojo ball giveaway for juniors

This contest will involve The Memorial Tournament that takes place June 1-4 at Muirfield Village in Ohio. This will be run in some ways like the masters contest. The contest will begin the Saturday before the tournament, May 27, as this the day after the official fields are anounced. This will give me time to put together the list of players for the ones I have indicated a list will be provided. The contest will close Wednesday before the tournament at midnight E.S.T., and the thread will be locked to prevent anyone from changing their answers.


The questions will be as follows:

Chose a person/s in each of the following categories:

(I will post a copy of the official list of players that Friday, until then do not post)

Each of the following categories will be given a point value in parentheses for a correct response

Winner (100,000):

Top 5 (30,000 per correct reponse):

Bottom 5 who make cut (1,000 per correct response):

Big Name player who will miss cut (5,000): (This one I will select a list of 10 players and you will chose one)

Surprise finisher - This one I will select a list of 10 smaller name players and whoever's player finishes highest will win points and then it will go down from there for those with the top 5 picks

(highest finisher 8,000 2nd highest 6,000 3rd highest 4,000 4th highest 2,000 5th highest 100):


The person with the highest total number of points at the end of the tournament will win the golf balls.

P.S. I will re-open this thread when the contest begins, but this should give you a heads up to maybe start formulating some ideas.

I will also create an official response thread so as to make it easier to read the posts etc.

as this one is kind of long because of all the explanations.

Contest closed, unfortunate level of participation, but I will tally the points at the cutline to see what the standings are as far as the portions that can be determined by who missed/made the cut, and then at the end I will do totals and anounce the winner.
