Junior Equipment reviews

What about the Titleist 905R? I've heard a lot of good things about it but want to know if it's good for my swing type. My SS is around 105-110 and play a draw, but can usually work a fade. Thanks.

Thanks for the info. It was pretty much between that and the R5 TP, and the reviewer's speed and swing were very identical to mine. Is there anywhere that I could get an R5 TP for a good price?

can anybody write a review of the Taylormade TP Red Ball? A lot of people have reviewed the black one but I have yet to see a review of the red. Thanks

Yes there are a couple of us junior mods who are doing testing right now on that ball, me included. We will write up a review shortly, but wanted to give the ball a fair shot.

If you create a subforum for the TM balls I can do a review. I have been going back and forth between the red and black for a month and a half, so I think I've got them pretty well figured out.

Not sure what you mean tour performance, becaue frankly that originates from the swing and the person swinging it not just the club. Most of the drivers on the market today had "tour input" meaning they were tested by the tour guys to perfect the design but that certainly doesn't mean that they'll perform the same unless you swing as hard, fast, and well as they do...so I'm not sure I really understand the question.

The Ignites are extremely forgiving but with that comes almost no workability the heads on them are pretty big which personally kinda bothers me but they do feel pretty solid. they do have a good bit of offset in them which hurts me as well. ive had the set for about 6 months and im trying to get a nice set of blades but im having problems getting a job with my age at the moment. but overall they are solid if your looking for forgiveness.

907 D2 was one of the worst Titleist drivers I've ever hit.
