24 hour golf courses

I recall seeing one don't remember where it was think Texas. Anyways, was wondering if there are any others?

I have seen them before..... but they are all Par 3 courses with lights.... have not seen a actual full length course lit up yet

I know there are some in china, but I dont know the names. I read an article about them in golf digest.

Don't really care if they are a full 18, was more curious about whether or not ones exist in the US and what they are called or where they are located.

Well that sure would be sick to have around here... Haven't heard of any to be honest.. besides par 3's

Above the Arctic Circle In the summer, maybe...

Pretty sure there is one in vegas south of the stip about a mile.

In the summer ..Alaska is lit almost 22 hours a day and it never gets that dark so you could play 24 hours..

There is an 18 hole executive course in STL that is open till 3am in the summer

in orlando they have a lit par 3, it's not 24 hours but i did tee off at like 8pm

I think I saw one in Dubai. There was one near the hotel, it was about 9 P.M. and I saw some people there. Not Sure if it was a full course or not.

There Is a couple in India, primarily DLF which is a championship course (hosts a European tour event) it is located in New Delhi and costs about $60 - $70 to play which includs a caddy. I have played there a couple times but only in the day.

Callaway Golf Center? It maybe open late but not sure of 24 hours. I saw a course in Orange County that had lights but I don't think it was 24 hours.

Cedar Rapids, Iowa used to have the back nine of one of the city courses lighted. I played it once when my wife drug me there to visit her sister. If I remember right they were open until about midnight or one in the morning so you could tee off until about 10:00 or 10:30. The tee boxes and greens were lit up very well and the fairways enough so you could see the ball flight and find it pretty easily. I think they shut it down sometime in the mid 90's because it was too expensive to upgrade the system.

It was a fun experience and one of those things you can always say you've done.

Iceland?

Mariner's Point in Foster City, CA has lights and you can tee off as late as 830pm but I haven't heard of anything later than that on the west coast...

Their is an executive course in Garden City, SC that has 9 holes with lights. I have never seen a full length course with lights.

Every round played there features at least one ear shattering GONG off a light pole.

It was announced in 2006 that Myriad Entertainment & Resorts was going to build a $1.8 billion dollar resort in Tunica, Mississippi that would include the world's first climate-controlled, fully-enclosed 18-hole golf course.
I haven't heard much concerning the project lately. I'm sure the economy over the last few years may have delayed progress. Maybe when or if this economy turns around, the project can move ahead.
Would love to play 18 holes in Mississippi in the summer or winter at 72 degrees.
