Axivcore Black 69x, Fubuki 63x, F7M2 XX
I have a 120+ MPH SS. The head I am using is a Speedline Classic DF (Deep face) 7.5* driver.

My current setup is with the Axivcore Black 69X playing at 44.85 inches and a D3 swingweight (head is 208 grams....damn Counter balanced Axivcore shaft)

I had my first round with the club since I got it back from Ken and Victory Custom Golf after getting it hotmelted (head was origionally 194 grams....didn't work well with the Axivcore I had). Results were pretty good. Only missed one fairway on the front nine. But missed 4 on the back nine. Distance was really really good in very very soft conditions (aka next to no roll).

The only thing I don't like is the ball tails to the right....a little too much. Only club in the bag that was going right. I tipped the Axivcore .75 inch (it says not to tip it). I did so because one, the insertion depth is really shallow (just shy of an inch) and two the 208 gram headwight. So my worry right now is that the shaft is too weak when you take everything into account (insertion depth, head weight, my SS).

With that said.....how does the Axivcore compare to the Fubuki 63x (tipped) and the F7M2 XX in terms of launch and spin? I would also say Axivcore Black as well but they don't make it in XX (unlike the red)

I like the launch I was getting with the Axivcore Black yesterday. I don't know if the spin was good or not due to the really wet conditions

Thanks

Scott

Hello i have hit all three of those shafts and i would say f7m2 will give u lower ball flight with more roll but if ur leaking right f7m2 would be the worst because the tip stiffness. fubuki is high launch 63x was a noodle to me have u tried avixcore green tour? Thats a great shaft. There is alot to look at when tring to find a shaft.Tempo transition. I also liked the f6m2,83xwb and my current is the green tour.U can get one from flee bay for 140.00. I play adams speedline 9032ld 5.5 with green tour.

If you play a 9032LD 5.5 with a green tour.....you must be on a different level than me.

I don't need anything that launches much lower than the Black with this 7.5* head

The F7M2 I was wanting on BST just sold so it may be out of the equation since I will not find on in my price range.

So how does the Fubuki and Black compare.....launch and spin.

Remember I will tip the Fubuki even though it says not to.....just as I did the black.

If you were looking at the Fubuki, and w/ your ss I would not go w/ the 63 but 73X. Have you looked at the Kai'li 70-80 or BB 73-83?

I was saying 63x because I can get a I-Mix 63x for cheap. If I can find a 73x I may consider.

I am not considering the BB or Kai'li.

You need to go heavy, to calm the hands down a tad. If money is an issue, get a cheap 95x-85x NV from the Aldila Ebay store. Will be less than 20 bucks shipped.

Tip it an inch and WaLah.

Then save your pennies for an 83x WB pull off ebay and play it at 44.5

THe WB may be something for e to look into.....I am going to pass on the NV's for now
what about the aldila protoPype?
I have thought about it for other heads in the past but I don't want a shaft to be too boardy......and too low launch.

Looking for Mid-High LAunch and low spin.

I like the launch I was getting with the Axivcore Black yesterday. I don't know if the spin was good or not due to the really wet conditions

Thanks

As we discussed yesterday, you need to work on your game inside 100 yards. You lost so many shots there. The driver was the best club in your bag and the shots you missed right were just off the fairway. These misses were swing related........nothing to do with the shaft.
