Diamana Whiteboard vs. Proforce AxivCore Red

Just wondering what the difference is between the two. Any help would be appreciated.

I know the WB is a low launch and low spin shaft...and expensive!!!!

My understanding is the Green shaft is closer to the whiteboard than the Red shaft

Whiteboard will be lower launching/spinning and twice the price, smoother/better feeling as well. Not saying that the axivcores are great shafts.

I was fitted for the Proforce AxivCore Tour Red 79 in the 909D2 towards the end of the golf season. The fitter used the x-stiff 79-gram shaft so that my spin rate would go down. The best I was able to do with that was 3800 rpm and 11.3 degrees launch. Would the Diamana Whiteboard 73X be able to improve those numbers at all?

what about harrison mugen prototype?

A whiteboard would bring down those numbers a TON. Also you could try the Green Axivcore which is lower spinning than the red.

Titleist shaft chart seems to have them both at the same spin rate with the AC red being higher launch.

no shaft will bring you down 1000 RPM's ..you most likely have an angle of attack issue.

The AXIVCore Red and Green will be slightly firmer in the top (butt) 12 - 15 inches of the shaft compared to the corresponding weight/flex in the MRC WB series. The WB will be firmer in the lower (tip) 18 - 20 inches of the shaft.

WB will be slightly lower torque. AXIVCore will be more of a "counter-balanced" shaft.

I agree with jbembry, there is not a 1000 rpm difference in ball spin between these shafts.

Both excellent shafts but playability and feel is subjective and relative only to your swing.

The Axivcore Green won't be more counter balanced, it's actually built to the contrary and has a lot of weight at the tip end.
