Iliac Headcovers

I saw an Iliac bag at our club about a year ago... and debated over it for months. White canvas and leather, it was nice but as you say, a bit expensive. I finally bought it and the old style (no tassles or elastic) brown canvas/leather headcovers and have gotten more positive comments on both than I ever would have imagined. I had to add a bit of sewing thread to the hybrid headcovers for in walking, I found they could gradually fall off the hybrid heads. I worried that the bag would wear quickly or look dirty over time but it repeals dirt and mud with a washcloth. I like it a lot but have not tried any of their other products. I probably will for I like the very unpretentous, classic look. I also like the new photography from Bandon on the website.

I got 1 driver headcover, 1 fairway headcover, and 2 hybrid headcovers from iliac for almost 2 years. Mines are all wool knit with pom. Love the big pom for the driver, BIG. Overall good quality headcovers. My fairway headcover did break after 1.5 season and I am in the process to get the replacement. I think they might be a tap smaller for my G10 4W. Driver and hybrid headcovers are still in excellent condition. The other thing is that I hope they make the neck a little bit longer.

I would love to try the leather headcovers next time if wallet permits.

I have the vintage leather covers in the new red/black colorway and I love them. I've had them for about 4 months and the quality is outstanding. I'm getting ready to order a putter cover from them in the white/black/red polo stripes for this season. I may even go for a hybrid cover too if I add one to the bag.

Have driver, 3 wood, and hybrid cover (see witb) and love mine, much better quality than rocket tour.

I have Jan Craig and Iliac Poms. Iliac is nicer in my opinion.

Iliacs are the coolest, just ordered my second set!

I'm a big fan of iliac.

I've got a set of the wool covers in black and antique white (Pom on driver, tassels on the rest of woods and hybrids). They are very nice and the best looking in my opinion. I also have two of their leather cloud putter covers (one vintage black, one in pure white) with initials. They are really nice and better than Cameron putter covers IMO. Also have 2 of their hotel towels. They are real nice towels and worth the $ I think.

I just ordered a new set of headcovers for a new bag I got. Spoke with them on the phone yesterday; they improved the tassels from last year they told me. They are now thicker and better looking. I ordered 5 new tassel wool covers in blue and antique white. The only downside is they are backordered and won't ship till April 1. Not that I need them now, I just hate waiting for stuff that long, but oh well.

I also ordered a white classic dormy pullover. I should get that next week.

I picked up an illiac putter cover for my blade putters, it is by far the best cover out there. I have the traditional green cloud head cover, yes it was huge $$$$ but I am the only guy at my club with it. But more importantly it stays on the putter, as I walk and carry my clubs, so no bag chatter on my putter. The customer service if ordering direct from them is fantastic, very helpful and speedy...

Hands down, iliac's quality is far and away superior to Rocket Tour and Jan Craig, in my opinion.

Please post some more pics of your covers. I'm deciding between a couple of different colors and would love to see some more pics. Thanks

I may have to order a putter cover as well, they look incredible.
The one thing that is weird is that all their pics on their site have club logos (i.e. Pinehurst, Pebble, etc...)

i pretty much had the same exact setup as RH63. i had pom on my driver and tassel on my fairway wood and hybrid. i ended up losing the hybrid and the 3 wood and decided to pick up a set of Jan Craigs in a variety of blue/orange/white color combos (for my alma mater, Syracuse).

I think the quality of Illiac versus Jan Craig is very comparable. The only complaint I have of the Illiacs was that the pom on the driver was too big and too heavy so the headcover sagged a lot. The pom on the Jan Craigs is much lighter and still feels as "full" or as plush as the Illiacs. However, I like the Hybrid cover from Illiac better than my hybrid cover from Jan Craig.

If you like the colors the Illiacs offer, its a better deal since they ship immediately and the prices are pretty much the same as Jan Craig. However I give the nod to Jan Craig merely because its fully customizable, though waiting a few weeks for them to make your headcovers is a bit annoying.

I have illiac head covers as well, also pretty much what was posted, but obviously different wording.

I love them, top quality, no complaints here.

Quality is amazing! They are pricey but built to last. I have always used Jan Craigs but now only Iliac. Made the switch to the leathers and I love them...no big ball or tassel in the way and they look better to me. Also, very easy to take on and off.

I have a jan craig driver and an illiac 3 wood...and to tell you the truth, the quality is very similar, and i would recommend both

I've got two on the way. Leather w/ polo stripes. Should be here this week!

I have a set of 4 on order, wool with tassels. I'll take some pics when they arrive.
