Help with Freq.

I have a set of Cleveland CG7 Tours (Tour Concept) with KBS Tour stiff shafts and I recently had the frequencies checked. They were all were spot on 6.5. While the quality control was very surprising and pleasing. But I ordered them in stiff, not x-stiff, and I was a little shocked that the number was so high. I hit them plenty straight and am not complaining. But I am about to order another (conforming) set and I want to know if there was a mix up or if I should go ahead and order stiff again. When I say mix up I mean that they sent XStiff instead.

Your thoughts? Thanks.

Does the sticker under the grip say X or S? it might be worth haveing a grip pulled to see...in some cases you can put the same grip back on otherwise it cost you 8 dollars so you can get the correct set of clubs for youself. if you do pull it i would go with whatever the sticker says.

Pull a grip and look for the etching to determine what they are. Stiff will have S5,S6, etc. X will be X5,X6, etc.
They do freq' a bit stiff, but not the 6.5 range for stiffs.

Don't worry about the freq. Trust your feel, the distance and the ballflight. These are not the typical steel shaft and measure alittle differently. Because they are constant thickness (not tip reinforced....a byproduct of the method of manufacture), the butt ends up measuring firmer. You see it more dramatically with graphite shafts where tip stiff shafts have a softer butt and vice versa.

If the nominal stiff flex works for you, just stick with it.
