Longest driver

All three of those manufacturers are making some of the hottest on the market but what you have in the bag is pretty solid... The longest driver is the one YOU hit the best and of course is PROPERLY fitted..... All 3 are putting up big ballspeed this year...

I'm still playing the original Rapture which is a great driver, but not the longest current driver. However, like the 07 Burner it still holds its own just fine. I would probably suggest hitting the I15 and the Adams 9032LS. The supposed king of ball speed Insight 9015D is a great driver unless you need draw bias. It does not have any draw bias. I haven't hit the FT Tour, but I've heard good things about it. But you might not like the feel of the Callaway since you've been hitting a driver that has a really solid feel. So I'd probably look at both the Adams offerings. Even the original Speedline is a great club. A few guys I know and play with some picked them up and they all hit it longer than their previous drivers. Substantially longer. I keep thinking about picking up a new driver, but I hit this old Rapture so solid and straight I hate to change to just chase distance. The Ping G10 isn't shabby either, btw. Forgiving, workable, and plenty long.

The Alpha C830.2 is crazy long and very forgiving....2 out of the top 3 at the Remax were hitting these

In terms of distance, have you tried the newer version 2009 Burner Driver? I switched from the '07 to '09 and with the same shaft at the time (VS Proto) I gained some distance.. The PING Rapture V2 and G15 are also very long and forgiving. Lastly, I have hit the Callaway FT-9 and it was also up there in terms of distance...

I agree with the previous poster, Adams 9015D is very long, albeit not as forgiving... it also has one of the best feel.

The other drivers I hit that were not as long: Titleist 909, Nike Sumo2 and Dymo, Taylormade R9 460, Cobra L5V.

Your specs seem to be faster and stiffer than the iron john they used, but maybe it's a start.

If you don't have already, find what aftermarket shaft fits you best and put it into your '07 Burner, nothing else is going to even touch it.

Word. I haven't been tempted by a new driver (sure, some of them are great looking) since putting the '07 Burner in the bag in early '08. I have a Whiteboard in mine, and I love it. The only times I don't love it are when I'm swinging poorly -- which isn't the club's fault.
