Socks?

I've got some lowcut Nike Dri Fit socks that are pretty comfortable. Its been too cold to see if my feet sweat in them though. Dick's or another sporting goods store should have them. I got mine from a local golf course.

Under Armour heat gear of Nike Drifit for me, Both hold up well for me.

I prefer the Under Armour over the Nike Dri Fit. The Nike's made my feet sweat too much.

White...Tube...j/k I'd like to pick up a few myself.

I prefer the low cut white or black (depending on the shoes I'm wearing) FJ socks. They're insanely comfortable.

Puma!

another vote for Under Armour. They wick away sweat really well and seem to not slip down under the heel (I had a big problem with that with the nike dri fits)

Puma makes the best socks. If you can get to a retail Puma store they have the best selection.

One thing I noticed on tour was a lot of non TM/Adidas players wearing adidas socks. neither her nor there, just find it interesting to see Ernie Els and Vijay wearing an adidas logo on there socks. Wonder if there sponsors notice.

I'm having trouble finding a low cut sock that doesnt fall under my heel. All Puma socks I've tried do this. Most Adidas too, although I found one recently that doesn't. Maybe I should stop buying my socks at TJ Max.

Socks?? I dont even wear underwear

X-Socks. Expensive yes, but the ankle support feels good to my weak ankles.

thorlos if you want them a bit thicker...

i have some nike dri-fits that are about 5 years old and quite used and still going strong...they're thinner and i use them on my shoes that have a tighter fit than the others..

Nike no shows, but not the dri-fit. Thorlos are great socks, but not easy to find and big money.

Lorpen Multisport Coolmax © Ultralight. Best no-show wicking socks I've used. Tough, and no sweat.

FootJoy Roll Top, white only when wearing shorts.
Normal every day crew socks when wearing slacks.

Footjoy comfort sof low cut.  Nice, reasonably priced sock.

I can usually find Thorlos in The Walking Company shoe store which is in most major malls, I believe I also found some at Nordstrom as well. I agree they are very padded and expensive, but well worth it.

OK. get ready to laugh... I wear Joe Boxer brand sport socks from KMart. They are the ankle-cut ones, but they are super thick at the bottom providing very nice comfort. My wife picked them up one day and I totally love these socks! I made her go back and get more. They are probably less than half the price of UA, Nike, or any other "name" brand. Not ashamed at all.

White Nike Dri-Fits, worn them thorugh 2 of the Valleys 100+ summers. Also have some black Champion low cut moisture wicking and they feel great on my feet.

I wear the no show model of running socks from BackCountry.com. If you get them on sale, they're less pricey. But they are super thin, wick away moisture, and fit right.

Hanes ankle cut socks... Work just fine for me.

The old faithful 1000 Mile socks for me.

Not the cheapest, but they work brilliantly and last forever.

LOL!! I'm not laughing at you, I'm laughing with you. Last year I was out of town for a tournament and I realized I had forgotten my golf socks. So I drag all my buddies into K-Mart at 9:00 PM the night before the tournament and picked up a 3 pack of them. They were fantastic. I still wear them today when I'm going out for a walk with SWMBO or to the gym. You're right they are very soft. K-Mart saved the day!!

The original rolltop FJ is still the best in my opinion. I have tried most of the others - but always come back to this FJ.

I've found that I need to wear two socks to prevent rubbing/blisters, especially on hot days.
New Balance makes an ultra thin no-show sock that has a constriction band around the foot at the arch. I think Nike might have something similar.
Then I wear Footjoy ComfortSof rolltop/low cut or a Footjoy TechSof over that.

I don't have any moisture or rubbing problems in my shoes when I do that.

These guys just make socks... trying to find a pair in a big box store that compares to these isn't easy.

Adidas Climacool

Almost any brand will work but the most important thing is to keep away from cotton. Try and find socks with synthetic fibers to keep your feet dry.

Lt Dan was right...

Bought a pair of the new Kent Wool Tour socks. Expensive, but I'll be buying another pair or two as they are the best I've found for walking the course and not having your feet be tired at the end of the round.
