Oakley.

Maui Jim sport or Maui Jim Titanium (very lightweight) and Oakley Flak Jackets.

Those are the 3 types of Sunglasses i sport when i play or am off the course.

Oakley flak jackets. M Frames...or the new Radar ones. We sell a cheap pair at the shop called Maxx Sunglasses. They are around $20.00. We sell a ton of them. I am not trying to sell them but let you know the features of a $20.00 set of glasses.

oakley flaks and oakley radar love both and the lenses if taken care of last forever!

Costa Del Mar are the best sunglasses by far, and very Durable.

Maui Jim sport with rose colored lens. Great customer support as they just sent me new nose pads free. Also have a pair of Peakvision glasses.

+1 for Maui Jim Sports. I have the Kanaha. Stay in place and weigh next to nothing.

I also tried the Nike contacts for golf (Gray/Green). They work well but if you stick around the clubhouse BS'ing until dark you are kinda screwed for the drive home...and I think they are now discontinued.

Kaenons are really nice as well...I loved the lenses in them but with my small face they just were not for me so I switched to a pair of Radar Paths and love them. I really wish Kaenon made sunglasses for us smaller faced guys. I have 2 pairs of the hard kores if anyone is ever interested...

OAKLEY FLAK XLJ for my big head. Just keep em in the case provided and your good to go. Nice, sturdy frames.

FYI, for any military/police/fire/ems etc... usstandardissue.com, cheaper than anywhere else I've seen.

Now....to try and find the best OAKLEY lens for golf is the next hurdle.

I bought a pair of the "Maxx" glasses at a local course, and they aren't bad.
They fit my narrow face well, and I find that glasses are a PITA to fit.

I also picked up a pair of Tifosi glasses, and I think they look great and are pretty good deal for the $, mine came with a hard case, a soft pouch, and another color of interchageable lenses for like $60 IIRC.

Tifosi-Comes with different lenses for different light conditions and has 100% lifetime warranty, even if it is your fault!!!

Kaenon works best with my melon. Good coverage and no side lighting. I look like this though...

I've worn exclusively Maui Jim for the last five years or so, but I just picked up some Sundogs for $50 and I like them better. MJ's aren't that durable either. I went through a pair a year.

Kaenon Hard Kore - sounds like I must have a big melon. Anyway love these sunglasses.

Tifosi Slip...Lightweight with great coverage...Anyone tried them?

tifosi ventoux...can actually look normal wearing these off the course also. Just started wearing sunglasses, I love them but hate the tan lines...

i have a couple of pairs right now, and usually wear them all the time when I'm golfing.

I have always worn Oakleys. They just work great. I have the M-frames, Flak jackets and Radar Paths. I recently switched to the Radar paths with the G30 lense and even though it seemed weird at first, (everything is rose colored), I improved my putting average by three strokes! These lenses work period and Oakleys are the best.

I like the adidas golf specific glasses. I lost my A18 after about two years. just everthing about them is great lenses, adjustable temples, adjustable nose bridge. The arms will fall- off before they break and can be snapped back in place

I like the sundog bomb's. Cheap enough that you can still break them 3-4 times and be money ahead on more expensive shades!

I wear Kaenon sunglasses as well. You're right, they're perfect for my large head.

I'm partial to Oakley, but I've owned them all. The quality of lenses on the premier brands (Oaks, Maui, Del Mar) are second to none. As long as you take care of them or don't lose them they are worth every penny.

I've used M-Frames for 10 yrs (started using them for baseball in HS) and sometimes I forget they are on. MY eyes are so relaxed and the lenses are so clear that you forget you're wearing them. Needless to say - I love my Oaks.

I've tried everything except Costa del Mar.

I have a large head. Large and round. I have never found a pair of Oakleys that did not pinch the side of my melon right above the ear. I'm not an acupuncture expert, but pressure on that point is a one-way ticket to a splitting headache, so no Oakleys for me.

I've been happy with several pair of Maui Jims, but lately I've been wearing Kaenons. The comfort of the frames isn't quite what you get from the flexible Mauis, but I do love the Kaenon lenses.

Maui Jims, rose lens. Also like Serengeti non-polarized photochromic Sedona lens.
